oddly enough, the pilot head is now in a very wrong position... he's completely detached from the seat, which by default breaks connection between the player and the plane in VR... you have to adjust it yourself, but that's not a positive change from ED, in my opinion.

PS: looks like the graphical bug which affected the OG A10C panel has creeped into this one also, if you look where the bugie cord attached to the side of the instrument panel, you can see a texture error. Hope also this gets fixed before release. Keep up the great job ED

If you haven't upgraded or got this module make sure you do. This is the most complete module out. Just superb stuff. It will take you ages to learn this and that is the beauty of it.

I'm not sure I understand the changes to the China hat. I use aft to slew to steerpoint and forward to slew to SPI at the moment. How will this change affect things?

Fwd is slave all to SPI at the moment. Not sure how different in usage it will be if it's just slave TGP to SPI. Granted I didn't have much use for slaving TGP to STPT

There are 2 big issues with the F-16 I have noticed. 1. When going into CCRP for bombing, the azimuth is fully deflected to one side of the HUD and gives no dropping cues. 2. After swapping steer points when using Mavericks (fire a few, then switch steer points to another target area), you are unable to move the targeting pod from the steer point.

Any plans to have the HMD render "under" the NVGs? That way the color of the system is preserved and not forced to be green. If I'm not mistaken the HMD is closer to the pilots eyes than the NVGs in the real jet.

Those china hat forward and back elements are casually mentioned, yet the muscle memory programming will take a while... Will have to delve in I guess. Currently enjoying the JUG over the Channel, kind of like a predecessor of the A10 with ground straffing and lingering with Open canopy above the suckers below.

From today's change notes: --- Adjust Coolie Hat HOTAS functions: Coolie Hat Up: HUD as SOI; Coolie Hat Down: HMD SOI. China Hat HOTAS changes. Regardless of what is Sensor of Interest (SOI), China Hat Aft Long always slaves the Targeting Pod to the current Steerpoint and not the Sensor Point of Interest (SPI). China Hat Forward Long slaves all sensors and weapons to SPI instead. --- So I guess China Hat Aft Short still resets the cursor (have not checked yet). As far as I can tell the Flight Manual PDF has not been updated in this regard (page 94). It still states "China Hat Aft Long slaves TGP to SPI".

Any particular reason why filming on Caucasus and not Syria map Wags? :) When can we expect a Syria map performance optimization? Pg i runs smooth at 120 fps, Syria 30-45 with same settings..... and in mp server s sometimes even worst. Thank you

Look into head tracking software for your smart-phone - it exists and I believe it's open source. Works with your smart phone camera pointed at you and figures out where your head is looking, then passes the data to head tracking software just like TrackIR does.

The A-10C II is it's own module. Completely separate from the A-10C.

@@Xenthera correct. You have to buy the A-10CII as it's own module. If you already have the A-10C, the II was discounted to only $10 for the first month and $20 after that. Yeah, you have to buy it all over again, but it's super cheap.

If you don't have the og A-10C you can buy the version 2 as a standalone module. If you have the og A-10C you can buy the A-10C 2 upgrade for 10 bucks. The version 1 and 2 planes are seperate modules so you can still use the og one if you don't wish to buy or upgrade to the newer version. Upgrading the og doesn't delete the og from your account, it just adds the A-10C2

On the Warthog HOTAS, the china hat is the red switch on the throttle that has the shape of...a Chinese hat. It's under the left thumb. The coolie switch is a 4 point switch, also on the throttle, but located near the index finger at the front.

@@triggerdcs but the problem is the full fidelity part, don't get me wrong, I'd absolutely want to see this plane but this talk about having a modern full fidelity Russian plane has already been going on for a long time and the main problem is finding the information or legaly being able to share it through a full fidelity module. But I do stay hopeful that one day it'll happen, especially since su30mki have been exported exclusively to India (I forgot the other country) so perhaps the information is less hidden on that plane variant...

@@theeltea Yeah.. the most important things to me are bug fixes and performance improvements, especially VR performance improvements since I'm running a i9 9900K GTX 1080 32 GB RAM and still need to have all settings on low or off on the Oculus Rift CV1

@@theeltea I highly doubt it, the more resolution the VR headset has the more demanding on performance, I'd hold off on the G2 until they implement the Vulkan API but that probably won't come until late next year/early 2022. I'll be getting the 3070 or 3080 soon and I'm hoping with the Rift CV1's low res combined with the 3070/80 I might be able to up a few settings without much performance loss but we'll see.
