Either i missed it or you never explained it: Bullseye is a random point within a region/theater which is kept secret and is only known to friendly forces (especially aircrafts). Its purpose is to allow for exchanging position data over open comm without the enemy knowing what is being said. So if a pilot says "We are at 149, 28" (or something) that doesn't mean anything to anyone listening. Because its relative to the bullseye location which is classified. If they would give their position in the usual longitude/latitude format anybody listening would know their location. Despite its name Bullseye is NOT a location of any physical significance. Its not a Target or Base or Landmark or anything. Its just a reference point.

Another Great video. Typing and organizing my notes as I listened and learned. Lot's of starting and stopping the video to make sure I got it. Thank you again. After reviewing 3 videos, my head hurts. Time for a break. :)

Isn't there a way to always show bullseye in upper left corner of TAD in relation to cursor position (as opposed to own a/c)? (without hooking)
@Kmbtkrl8 жыл бұрын
I think the upper left is always ownship bullseye. if I remember right the cursor bulls is down on the bottom, or there is a setting to change to make it show. I'll look nextime I'm in the pit.
