Just that little trip really pumped me up for the Apache. Hear is basically the one sens we can really use to immerse ourselves in regarding simulators. It's not just an ED guy showing some new stuff, it's Wags taking us with him. @@gryphus-0171 The Apache has Altitude, Attitude, and Heading hold modes as well as the standard force trim. Think of it as flying with out any modes turned on in the Ka-50, but trimming out via force trim. Then activate mode(s) based on what you are wanting at that time. The main difference will lie in the modes have limits to what they can compensate for and will kick out (disable) themselves if those limits are exceeded. Newer helicopters have far better trim systems that make it much easier to point the aircraft where you want, and over a certain speed you don’t need tail rotor thrust to correct for the rotational torque of the rotor system. But I fly without pedals. I fly the paint of the huey. Land it on the back of ships, I fly it sideways, backwards…. I spin it around while going forwards and don’t seem to have a problem without pedals. You just adapt to the controls you have and….. more importantly you can adjust turn rate, and smoothness with curves and dead zones.

Any consideration into adjusting the border size of the IHADSS ? Seems sometimes intrusive into your view and while the symbology size will not change but increasing the size of the border it will occupy less of the center of the field of view on the 2D panel.
