Thanks to your F-15 Tutorials, I now understand the Lock On/DCS APG-63 Radar idiosyncrasies by heart.. or at least most of the time. I hope there'd be a continuation pertaining interception of targets that shoot back.. I guess that would cover topics pertaining ECM, countermeasures & evasive maneuvers ;) Cheers^^

This is still amazingly useful, for a number of reasons. It also makes me feel rather spoiled that DCS/FC3 looks so nice. f15 AP doesnt really work the way you would think it would what i do is trim the jet so it flys where it want it to go

+HypezGamingHD "-" and "=" decrease and increase the display range, not the radar range itself. The range is simply what it is. You can't shorten or lengthen it. Or am I misunderstanding what you mean? BTW, I think of "=" as "+" because they share the same key, though technically the key command really is "=".

Does slewing the tdc left and right do anything in RWS mode? I know in the current F15 the azimuth and bars are locked and TWS is 60* only now.

Ground air speed is the projection of true air speed vector onto the ground. that's why its value is always between 0 and TAS. it has nothing to do with weather or wind effects.

Not sure if anything changed but in order to get my radar on (on the F15) I need to go to Close Air Combat Vertical Scan Mode, turn radar on then switch back to Beyond Visual Range Mode, can't go to (2) and turn the radar on. Am I doing anything wrong?
