Amazing video, Grmzl! Thanks a million for putting this together and for your support- as you know, we are doing everything we can to make each round better and better, but I think what we have is a really entertaining experience, and I hope it will bring more and more into the awesome flight simulation genre! I hope it goes without saying that you are ALWAYS welcome in the commentator box, my friend! You did an amazing job

Love love love the grudge matches! Hooks commentary during the grudge matches is second to none and an hour and a half of air combat is fantastic! The only thing I'm missing, just a little bit, is some cockpit views and I don't even know if that's possible.

Although I'm not a newcomer to DCS, I have only recently discovered these Grudge Match videos. You mentioned excitement over the impending F-14 release as an excellent choice and I wholeheartedly agree. Tomcats vs Eagles over Nevada in a kind of AIMEVAL/ACEVAL 2.0. Regards

Well I never really thought all that much about E-Sports and while I have doubt that they can be exciting to watch, there was always something about them (maybe the stereotypical adittude around it that kept me away). But this is interesting and compelling to me as a history nerd. Thanks for sharing it.

Nicholas Mew really glad we put together an experience you could get behind! I know as commentator I'm humbled by the skill of the pilots and the knowledge of my Co-commentators, so hopefully the experience that peaked your interest will continue in future rounds- thanks for tuning in!

Interesting to see the close end results for both sides. Apparently the teams were well balanced. I assume the combatants knew about the amount of ground units. So I wonder if things would have gone differently if they haven't known.

Is Tacview live a thing? It would take the Grudge Match amasing.

I understand your argument about DCS esport being easier to watch than Starcraft 2, but a cannot agree with it. Having no experience in Realistic combat flight simulator, there is little to nothing more in a DCS match (for me) than "don't know what that was" and "that guy won and that guy lost" from my point of view. (might be why i don't enjoy watching fighting game esport but enjoy CSGO, Dota2 and SC2 (to a lesser extent). The main reason that got me addicted to your content three years ago is the way you explain everything happening on screen, what you think the enemy is doing, how to counter it and why you thought so. Commentator of esport are there for that ? Yes and no, sure they comment what is happening, but that is not coming from the players himself, but from a third party. If we remove all that, i can still see why a flashed T got killed by a CT and why it's important to guard the bomb, i understand why a small terran army got crushed by a big zerg army, but i have no idea why that weird ass maneuver in a spitfire was especially effective against a 109 and what is difficult to pull off or not. With all that said, i might just be biased toward CSGO, Dota2 and SC2 because i'm more familliar with those, but i haven't played competitively in CS since 1.6, never played ranked in SC2 and don't even play Dota2. Buuut, i'll still have a look at those grudge match video.
