It has a greater that 1:1 thrust to weight ratio. So basically it doesn't need its wings to provide lift because it can't fly straight up. It's been flown and landed with one wing before

Wings lost because DCS damage model. It shot up probably because the CG may have moved pretty far aft causing the rear to drop down and one engine was still running+the body can kind of act as a wing to pushing it up.

depends on what system has him locked up. 6 wouldnt care, an 8 wouldnt care. its a radar return and heat has nothing to do with that.

​@@Danno419 Sams are mostly infrared instead of being radar guided and if you look closely the missiles were aiming for the engines instead of aiming closer to the nose which makes it sure that the missile wasn't radar guided. You can also see the person cutting the afterburner to dodge the first missle.

If using dumb bombs, then you have to do what IDS Tornado crews trained in; staying low and "lobbing" them at the last second.
