DCS : Mig25RB update trailer & release date | ValTek Simulations

Coming tomorrow ! (Monday the 4th of November)
The Mig25RB Variant update for our Mig25P mod is finally here !
This update adds the RB variant which contains a different cockpit, different outside textures, different weapons and a bunch of fixes and upgrades to both the P and the RB variant.
New weapons include : Fab-500, Fab-100 and Kh-58U
We have mixed some elements of the Mig25BM to allow the usage of the Kh-58U and thus the ability to do SEAD missions.
The best news is that the RB variant uses the Su25T for it's avionics, this means that you won't need any paid modules to fly this variant ! (compared to the Mig25P which needs the F15C)
We at ValTek are happy to finally release this update that we have been working. I (eleyp) would also like to thank our new developer and programmer Goran Kocov which immensely helped in recent development.

This mod still includes the Mig25P interceptor variant. This trailer was to announce the release of our Mig25RB which is an addition to the Mig25P mod. This means that upon downloading and installing this mod, you will have both the Mig25P and Mig25RB as flyable aircrafts.

Soon as I heard that tune hit, I knew what this was going to be about. Although honestly, this wasn't the best trailer. Maybe it was released in haste or lack of expertise. Check out the dozens of Sovietwave edits. Although they use original footage from the 60s - 80s. Not hard to make similar effects with DCS footage.

Oh yeah I forgot tho, you got the naming wrong, because yes the MiG-25RB is a MiG-25R with bombing capabilities, BUT, the MiG-25 with Kh-58Us is the MiG-25BM, not the MiG-25RB. So I'd just say to change the name and remove the cameras in the nose, maybe try to look at the MiG-25BM.

I'm aware of that. We have mentioned it in the description of the video, we are adding elements of the BM to our RB so players can do SEAD missions if they desire.

This is a low fidelity flyable mod that we have been working on, includes custom cockpit, weapons, gauges and more. This is our first mod so don't expect a high level but we are regularly updating it and don't plan on stopping !

Not at all. The Su 25 is a CAS ground-pounder. The Mig 25 is a hyper fast interceptor meant to intercept strategic bombers and protect a large airspace. This is the first time in see it used in an air to ground capacity.

Yeah Kino's lyrics are always about sad things. Gruppa krovi is about a soldier going to war. I think it fits with fighter jets considering how vulnerable they are, and that they were literally made to fight and kill.

The MiG-25 is a cool curiosity of an aircraft, but Viktor Belenko proved that it was a piece of shit. I have a DCS Su-24 Fencer on my wishlist.

@@fubaralakbar6800 it's not much that it was a bad aircraft but more that it wasn't what the west expected. We thought it was a hyper maneuverable multi role fighter but turns out it was made to be a pure interceptor and had no maneuverability. In terms of it being good or bad, I believe it was a good aircraft, because although it wasn't what we thought it was, it did what it was made to do ; interception, ground strikes and reconnaissance. It's also nice to know that the Mig25 defected by Belenko was an early P variant (same one as our mod). But because of that, the USSR then made later variants like the PD which had IRST, and that's not counting the recon and ground attack versions.
