Well this is awkward... I meant to to make this public at the beginning of February before my mum visited for a month but I forgot! (That's why nothing was released during February) Sorry about that!

Not awkward at all, hope you had a lovely time with your mum!

So one issue I always have is that the feather button gets pushed in and then gets stuck there without actually feathering the engine. How did you do it, keep it manually depressed until the engine is feathered? I always read you should press it for "a few seconds" and then release.

That's weird. I would try holding it in until the prop feathers conpletely then release. Just make sure if you assign it to a switch that it doesn't stay in the position that activates the command

at @8:00 you turn INTO the dead feathered engine. I thought you should turn into the GOOD engine?
@RequiemsACTL Жыл бұрын
It is always preferable to turn into the good engine, but I like showing that turning into the dead engine is perfectly fine provided you have enough airspeed so you're not at risk of falling below the higher Vmc as a result. I used to demo steep turns into the dead engine to my RL students showing this. Sometimes you don't have an alternative due to maybe terrain or airspace and need to do it, so understanding it's not a black and white rule is important.

Is the mosquito conventional or counter-rotating? I wanna get this plane in DCS because I love the physics in it and I want to start using DCS as a training tool for my multi-engine single engine operations currency.

Conventional...but be warned, generally speaking the lateral stability with the warbirds is lacking. So you'll need to add a yaw curve otherwise there will be a lot of bouncing around with small rudder inputs
