@@sloppydog4831 Isn't that forward morse button for the recognition lights? As for the one next to the #2 seat, that transmit button _IS_ used for morse transmissions in CW mode. Though it's not really a good morse key... Try it: Set the T1154 to "CW" mode and press the key. I've just been reading the manual, and it looks like you're supposed to be able to "back-tune" the transmitter to the receiver frequency, but that doesn't seem to be working.

Recently, you asked questions about why people buy campaigns. The answer on this one is why I bought this plane - Because of you - When I listen to your videos I see we think alike about realism. I would not of bought this plane just now if not for your mastery and skills. DCS can become boring in single player after you get your skills dialed in. It will be like my first deployment after training when I start your campaigns.

Very nice simulator for using the R1155 and T1154 transmitter and receiver, i have owned tree of this receiver in my long life, the first was 1955 in complete original box direct imported from surplus-shop in UK. the two later was already rebuild by radioamateurs, and was many years later. Anyway i use them a long time for amateurradio-communications. Do i have to buy DCS world to use this simulator?

Great video thanks :D I've seen the T1154 and R1155 modelled in a bunch of WW2 era aircraft in various flight sims but this is the first time I've seen them actually working. Really fun to see how they work. Hopefully we can have a very basic AI wing-level/attitude hold functionality for it soon (Please ED, and I wonder what they'd call it?) Also would be good if ED add A1271 Beam Approach functionality to the Normandy and Channel maps. I wanted the Mosquito before, this video increased that a lot, thanks.

It really needs a straight and level autopilot for when the pilot is setting up navigation and radio tasks. But if you mention it on the ED forum there'll be a million people screeching " NOOOO ! muh realism !!! " and that's about as far as it will get
@weswheel48343 жыл бұрын
@@colderwar Which seems a bit mad to me. Maybe the problem is that the Mossie is simple enough for people to understand that it didn't have an autopilot, but the Hind isn't. Maybe they could make the autopilot a bit rubbish at flying (but not as bad as having no autopilot at all).

@@spitfire4sergi It's a drift sight, lets the navigator find out how much effect that wind is having on the aircrafts course. @@ReflectedSimulations Yup. A 2 second morse code loops happily for 2-4 minutes then stops. I have tried it on the channel map and caucauses (ruling out a map issue). I have tried it on 4Mhz (red) and 350khz (yellow) channels, I have tried ogg and wav files (probably ruling out a file issue) and always the same. If however I change to say 125Mhz and use the pilots TR1143 then I have no issue and it works OK...it's just on the T1155. It's also not a sound issue as the direction finders stop working at the same time that the sound stops. Maybe ED have modelled blown valves lol. That is works on the TR1143 and not the T1155 makes me think that it's a bug. I do have some mods so I guess it's possible that they are the cause though.
