At your left knee, next to the laser arm there is a button for auto turn. It makes the helicopter autopilot point the nose wherever your shkval is targeting. Its really handy. I recommend using it.

This may be a stupid question but why is there a ejection seat on a helicopter? I know dcs world is realistic as possible so Assuming this is how it is irl. What I'm getting at is that ejection seats eject up. And if you eject up you go into the blades that maybe spinning

Left + Right cuttoff valves will shut down the engines, it will also drop power to most of the aircraft since the generators will stop once RPM drops below normal, this can be countered by starting the APU up again if full power is needed.

It has, it just blows off the rotor blades (using small explosives i guess) right before ejecting. It's only a matter of miliseconds.. ;)

I never seen a helicopter having an ejection seat. Pilots are trained to attempt a landing or crash landing. There are usually passengers on board a heli, so no one would have bailed. Please correct me if I'm wrong

nice nice nice nice nice nice, ka-52 can shit bricks on enemies but it is pretty slow (in arma 2 not dcs). one of my favorite russian attack choppers, i think it is one of the few russian attack choppers with thermal optics. great video ddg

ka-50 is hard to fly having a single pilot handle most of the weapons and fly, the ka-52 addressed that issue with a co-pilot.

Yep. The only thing you have to buy on DCS world is other aircraft. You start with the SU-25 Frogfoot, and you can buy other planes you want. Other than that it's completely free.
