The greatest Lex Luthor line ever written by any writer. Well that or "Superman made me do it." or "You wouldn't BELIEVE what this cost me." Or "Then I'm overqualified". On the other hand, wasn't crazy about Lex's sarcastic chess joke - c'mon man, Lex would never even joke that his intellect wasn't the most useful superpower of all. (See above "Overqualified" line - keep in mind, this is from a JLU episode where he defeats DARKSEID!) You know, we all had a year to ask this about Cryer's Lex, and about 8 years or so to ask this about Arrowverse, but how the fuck are the CW shows kicking the DC movies asses? He is just absolutely perfect in the role and embodies everything that makes Lex so appealing. He was pure gold in Supergirl Season 4 and I’m so glad he’s back for Crisis on Infinite Earths.

If the pattern repeats (and it will), it’ll likely repeat on The Flash (obviously), and Arrow, with a possibility of the scene popping up on Black Lightning, but noting they’re not actually contributing an episode to the crossover - only BL himself - I’d say it’s less likely but still possible.

The monitor is playing with fire. if he thinks lex luthor can help. He can't be trusted. He never believe in anything but himself. He will never fight and die for cause even when joined the justice league he never truly believe in their ideals and what the league stand for. He never surrender for something bigger than himself. He can see the machinations of the universe but he sees himself as the center. That's why superman has always beat him. The Batman who laughs sees these flaws in Lex Luthor. He's ego is his greatest weakness.

Watch Supergirl. Half of season 1 is great. Season 2 is not very good after the first 6 or so episodes. Season 3 is incredible. Season 4 is fucking incredible. And season 5, so far, is freaking incredible.

And watch Batwoman. The season started out between meh and bad, but after the first 3 episodes it just keeps getting better and better. Especially tonight's episode. GOLD!!!!

TJUC123 Season 2 is where I bailed on Supergirl. I tried this season but I was lost and didn’t know what was going on. I just found out the Two and a Half Men guy (Jon Cryer) is Lex Luther and that seems awesome so I might have to watch last season on Netflix during the winter break

So, I'm just going to repeat what I said one another person's comment: BUT, Mar Novu said Elseworlds as if it were an event. He didn't refer to it as different worlds and realities that were created by the book. He said it like he knew about the television crossover. Which makes sense because in DC Comics entities like the Monitor know they're in a comic book, movie, TV show, etc.
