I agree with what you said in the video. I consider myself a veteran of this game since approximately 1/20/2012 (as reported by the date of the first achievement obtained). pvp has been abandoned for many years and if they fixed it this game would shine again.

I agree from a old player from 2011 a lot is un balanced but there is a group call Elite Sixteen they have rules and they make the game barebone where all the broken stuff it taken out and it all skill they don’t do powers they mostly do legends iconics and ETC they then hosting crazy PVP tournaments and keeping what it left of the PvP community active.

I remembered back then on top of that medical building and in that area I remember when you could choose a PVP phase and you could literally attack people in the open world and fight them. It was a lot of fun I miss the old days. I miss Ultraman line where everywhere Before Trammell everywhere was a PVP zone outside of the guard zones the safe areas where the guards would protect you which literally should be their function. When you leave town the further you get from town you the more danger you’re in right I miss those days where everything is PVP right if you’re outside of the guard zone your subject to attack. I miss that housing was persistent in that world I mean I know in DCU you choose a location for your layer other people may have the same location, so your housing isn’t so much persistent in the world but it’s there when you go to it you can enter it from the world in Ulta online. You literally went there and your house is the only one in that spot. I miss that everything about old-school gaming was way more fun, even if the graphical fidelity and what not was not the greatest it was still way more fun, but I do remember being a lot of fun fighting right out in the open world wherever, and and that medical building was one of the Highpoint in front of many of the entrances toothe cowardly people would hide right by the entrance, and then the villainess people would be just out of range, trying to draw them out into the streets to fight and the fight going on for hours

Most people just do not know how but you still can join pvp phase and fight anywhere open world. From Hall of Doom or Watch Tower join pvp phase ... issue is usually not enough to do groupd quest with. Which is just do all quest in pve since it over populated with people just shit talking eachother then go to pvp and wait for real humans to actually experiance the game with

I miss legends pvp it used to be so much fun! I logged in for the first time in a long time and I had 170 legendary marks. Thought to myself I can get a nice character for these PvE feats!(SIKE THEY ALL COST MARKET PLACE CASH NOW)

If they worried bout artifacts just make PvP specific artifacts n make the current artifacts unavailable in PvP instances or phase add new feats with a new gear set as well that way current players with 101 gear have something do Add - Darkseid Doomsday cosmic boy etc As playable Interest in PvP isn’t an issue when you create interest.

They should have never given us the option to switch between PVE & PVP Servers. It should have been PVP from day 1. When running PVE Content, we are usually counterparts (e.g. we try to safe police officers on the hero side, they try to kill them on the villain side). This would have kept this game dynamic and way more fun to begin with…

Before leave, Panderus said that PVP would not be fixed because devs think there are not enough people interested in play that game mode (his words) The other thing i thing affects PVP state is they cannot make money with him (not the case of pve artifacts and stuff) Great video, Eddy.

The RPS system was always in the game from launch. Just few people knew about it back then. PvP was killed with Update 36 and buried with Update 41. They aren't going to do anything with pvp in the game because they aren't willing to try to make any money off of it. I tried for years with these devs. It's just not happening.

Now that is the name I haven't seen in a loooong time haha. How have you been? RPS (BB,lunge,Block) was always in the game. But when I say RPS I meant the movement debuffs (Tank>Troll>Healer) which was added later in the game. And yeah man, I know it's not happening but I am still trying my best. :(

@@iEddyGaming The movement debuffs were added later, yeah, but the RPS system (Rock, Paper, Scissors) you mentioned was in the game at launch. Few people knew about it because hardly anybody read the power descriptions including the Tank's abilities being able to remove controller debuffs. The 5s group I was in kept getting accused of cheating because we were one of the few who knew about them.

@@unutdcuo2476 Wow, you know so little about what you're talking about it's kinda sad. I never claimed to be the best, though for a while at the beginning the group I was in was on the top. Others came along that were better for sure. If the devs had listened to me back then, the RPS system wouldn't have been removed from PvP. I was against them removing it from the moment they announced it, and if you think you know about what was going on back then you'd know that. Devs rarely if ever listened or did a thing I said, bud.

Damn came back into the game after 9 long years and seemed that the game was completely dead. PVP servers are completely empty now it used to be filled with at least 30 players on off peak times. And stats on everything seem broken on gear like what is the point of playing pvp with pvp gear?

Great video. Was surprised, however, that you did not bring up the current PVP glitch that allows PVP players to cheat by using Explosive Detonator, Dampening Field, and other trinkets in their Loadout. The players you displayed in your videos typically use these trinkets taking advantage of the glitch in their Loadout.

@iEddy Gaming Surprised you would say you were not sure of the glitch's existence. Interesting. The glitch is activated by all powersets, specifically when using one or two power slots in the primary LO. When used it turns on the 4 slots in Utility Belt (UB). The glitch allows a player to use trinkets, supply drops, and orbital strikes from the UB. Far as I know you can activate the UB glitch before entering PVP Arenas though there are times when you can activate the UB glitch whilst in Arenas. This glitch works in Solo or Duo PVP "The Batcave and Shadowlands." Not sure about PVP Legends, PVP 4-Player Alerts, or 8-Player Raids.

The matchmaking is broke. Also the game. Got matched with someone today who is level 402. According to google, lvl 101 is the highest. So im not sure what is happening.

Rock, paper, scissor days.. Replays were the start of the greed. Open world pvp was ridiculous, nobody logged off until we got kicked for maintenance. Phases were ALL PACKED.

I don't think they can "fix" PvP without separating it from PvE like GW2 does. For one it's the gear (PvE gear is so far ahead now). For another, you can literally see during those two gadgets' duel, one of them (whose league has a lot of exploiters in my experience but still thinks they're good) lunges 3 times in a row to catch a lucky counter, then both go into stealth and just spam mines. There is no skill in lot of PvP playstyles now, it's really just spam. LPvP is more skillful IMO but some characters are also imbalanced. Good shoutout to Wolyu and SouIz, probably most fair arena players I've met. If there were more PvPers like them then maybe the gamemode wouldn't be so bad.

Tbh I like my artifacts in pvp. I even found a way yo defeat exploiters altho mental rage nature and atomic are the most threat to my fire tank. I have hotten some wins and i still think it's balanced enough for everday casual players who don't TRY and crush people like those who live on the game.

I know this is about pvp. But the game overall is in such an awful state. The community is so extremely toxic. The level of selfishness is crazy. No one wants to help each other. It's all me, me, me. Anyone who has played for a long time knows the community was not like this before. Pvp is just a straight up mess. The developers completely ignoring 50% of the game is incredibly lazy. To me it's a combination of laziness and incompetence from the devs.

I absolutely hate stats revamp quantum. They made it so reliant on Time Bomb in PvP to do any good damage. Old quantum had Singularity, Gravity Bomb, Tachyon Blast, Gravity Well and Warped Reality for amazing damage potential. Now they switched how those powers work entirely and pretty much nerfed it across the board. I hate this shit.

Yoo eddy i just sold an item for 4mil but for some reason i didn't receive the money so just to make sure i wasn't doing something wrong i sold another item for 1mil i got the email saying my item has been sold but I still haven't received my money, do you know how I can fix this problem?

It goes automatically to your total cash, shown in your inventory. Email doesn't have the cash attached. But incase, you didn't receive money at all, open a ticket with daybreak at their helpdesk. They should be able to help. 😊
