You would be correct they now have 6 positions posted on there website as it was 5 but it seems someone left and sees the sinking ship. It's concerning because they now for way too long still have key positions empty. All these changes point to they want people spending more time in a boring ass game once JLD cursed gets old and they want us spending money 🤭 and for what and on what? Stabs art xp booster bundles 😩 nothing game changing that's for sure. I will see about this Next gen update and QOL improvements they talked about but if it's not anything good I will retire from dcuo and will leave with fond memories of the good old days.

Only reason they took away all the stabilizers from all those sources, is to crush free to play. They want to incentivize their cash shop. Which I understand, but it's still scumbag sales tactics. Korean mmorpg focus on selling fashion worth buying, and that's most of their revenue. And it works!

I don't really see the need to remove the stabilizer rewards from daily log in and vendors because member or not 2 to 3 days to get a stabilizer is too long. They want to manipulate the DCUO player base to spend money. For the stabilizer mission itself, I would just give 1 stabilizer to non-members and 2 stabilizers for members every day to make it feel rewarding instead of 2 to 3 long day periods. Now the cheater thing is sorting a fine but increase source marks, dlc currency, to reward our time in the mission. For the love of God, either remove the chance system for artifacts or have artifact materials drop constantly in all content because getting the required materials is time consuming and even if you get the required amount, the random chance to rank up arts just negates 90% of the time. Once your artifact reaches 80 and above, it just wastes a bulk of materials, and it feels like nothing was earned. The difficulty is fine, but rewards are either useless or not enough to keeping the player grinding. Styles should not be locked behind a pay wall for new characters. Materials should also be unlocked for every new or existing character. They're needs to be a multi-role system for solo players. All content should be able to be soloed no matter if it's a duo, alert, or raid. Pvp should not rely on levels but skill, pvp needs more meaningful rewards like source marks or doctor fate currency for more encouragement for players. More abilities and Ability buffs to all powers/artifacts. Every powerset should have tank, healer and support roles to go alongside damage roles. There needs to be a map builder tool and a picture/video tool, similar to Halo and Fortnite. Marketplace items should be earnable during limited time events. Non-members should not have a limit to their text chat because it's unreasonable to have to pay for a built-in system. All missions should have elite and elite plus content for every mission because some rewards can only be acquired by doing that content. Every episode should have a solo, duo, alert, and raids missions instead of 3 out 5. The story content is stale because either some players can't access raids or alerts without teams, or the missions isn't interesting enough. If they do those things the DCUO will be such a better game, but they only think about nerfing abilities, make items costs more, having more team requirements than supporting solo-play, making roleplay and fashion required real life money. These are my opinions, I don't hate DCUO but dislike what the developers are doing to it. I currently only play test sever because its at least less restrictive.

In my opinion, your are correct. The task to make every single content soloable is a daunting task. But they almost and always choose the easier task, to stick with making dlcs and small adjustments or make small content like emotes (which I do appreciate) but which is why the game isn’t as fun as "Fun Games". New story content is always the same with different skin which is very boring and not creative enough. If solo players who enjoy the new content's story but are locked behind group activities, then they either move on to a different dlc with same outcome or they get ppl for the activity which wouldn't take long but would've been fun if done solo. Video games should always improve on all content until players enjoy it. For example, increasing rewards for long activities or making styles free on all new and existing characters with replay badges or any other currency. Constructing totally new content never before seen like a picture mode or builder mode that’s better the base building, is they should be striving for.

My concern with the removal of the stabilizers, that was my primary reason for buying the membership. I felt they added enough value to make me invest, with that said they removed all stabilizers AFTER the membership was purchased. I feel like that's bad business, changing the value and contents after your purchase feels icky.

Honestly I think they just killed the daily rewards system completely rewards were only available for basically half a month, so there goes the players who cared about value for money. Styles where promised to be either new or revamped version of old styles, ended up being nothing more than trash that everyone has, so that is two ways to make money removed. Monthly rewards are hit and miss at best most of the time, and who would actually pay for what essentially is an early access since it's going to be available ofr everyone in a few months. That's strike three. And now you lose the advantage of stabilizers. What exactly is left to sell the daily rewards feature anymore?

Only solution is to not play the game, what do you think would occur if every player for just one day didn’t log in? If the intent is to send a message to the players (in some of your opinions) then join together for one scheduled day and don’t log in, they will be more inclined to try and entice their player base into logging back in the game with gifts etc. just food for thought

I'm starting to suspect many of these changes are due, in part, to them rolling out not only for current gen (PS5/Series S/X) but preparing for the future of the title as well. Outside a much needed GFX update and new intro/story content is some fixes with how stabilizers and other buffs work. I still love playing this, but it needs to be much better streamlined..

Who’s the lead developer approving all these “fixes”? Am I the only one seeing a problem with the nth metal change? Idk how they expect new players/returning players/new toons to level up artifacts to keep up if they make it more and more harder to obtain. I’m competitive and back then it was fun racing to the top of the leaderboard bc there was no pay-to-win features. It’s just sad seeing a game I loved so much cater to our pockets instead of our in-game experience :(

Fr been playing this game since 2015 and they completely massacred the game since then. Honestly, the Artifact XP kinda sucks. It was also an easy way if you were playing as a new Toon, and just wanted to level up an artifact there quickly.

They are just negating the ways people have found to farm and reducing the ingame economy. Some people were using secondary accounts to get stabs and open more boxes, and farm nth metal faster. Its understandable but is just painfull because we just get more screwed and tired of the game.

well i used to exploit that stabilizers with hundreds of accounts and know people that exploit it too... I think exploiters will hate it, but Will be better for the comunity. About the omnibus 5 min will be hardest to farm marks legit but at least prevent exploiters from hackers. About that "thing" of no tradeable XP artifact. Its only 1 thing: greed. They want people to spend money not farm in game cash to buy XP. Thats it.

basically to consolidate, but it could also be seen that they want to reduce the amount of stabilizer keys will have and they'll need to purchase some when TC's come out as they have to know that not every player can or will login daily and run the duo. Compared to them previously being able to claim from a menu

Daybreak, grow some balls and give us better improvements instead of this bull crap. You should've just kept the stabilizers for vendors and daily rewards. Make the stabilizer missions soloable, give non-members 1 stabilizer and members 2 stabilizers per-day. All types of nth metal tradable/sellable to all players member or not. You punish all players who the majority who don't cheat, so the loot lock-out is too penalizing, instead find the cheaters who attempted this and ban them. The changes made we're unreasonable or flat-out reversed. The gaslighting on your post to say that this game is fair is an understatement and needs to be addressed.

I want everyone to do better its optional to stay with dc but the issues still stand I left for 2 years came back grinded again I was at 357 sp I gained 57more 404sp gear and sp is what strive us and yet artifacts and more might counter that u need everything and everything will cost you do it a free way you be behind sp will carry you a little but not too much depending on the situation. sp don’t exist in FFXIV characters are cross-Gen pc and playstation cross production.
