Superman Ally Passive Support 2, the Channeling one can be useful, for Single Target, many use their finisher as it allows you to get your finisher off and not be interrupted, and not have to use empowered channeling in your hands and drop max damage because of it.

I just started my 1st real Hero character after 12 years and going all the way with his build like my main DPS. I watch your previous allies test including Shazam and was wondering is that still the way to go for what I list below, thank you for your time. With all that said here is my layout/questions: 1.)Role/Power/Set up Prec Rage DPS 2.) Arts A.) Trans B.) Strat C.) Neo Venom Wrist 3.) Allies A.) Combat Single:Krypto/AOE: Cyborg/Shazam B.) Passive 1: Batman who Laughs LotD C.) Passive 2: Shazam for Might&Prec D.) Passive 2b: Cyborg is power an issue and Shazam is Combat

Something tells me you got this build from Dead Sea scrolls gaming haha. Could be wrong, but ngl this build is an absolute monster. I’ve officially ended up making my rage prec my main now and im working on getting my cr, sp and arts levelled up. Getting max states with this build you’d have a high chance of doing more dmg than gag and elec prec.

The damage doesn't show correctly in the DCUO Log Analyzer. It only shows the damage done by the first Bolt of Zeus and not the ones that arc to other enemies making it a pain to get a handle on whether its worth the huge amount of ally favour.

You will still want the DPS passive for boss fights, especially if it's mostly single target damage.

Is Shazam worth to level him as a gadgets dps? I mean u surely have to use cyborg for power regen and BWL but Shazam seems really good because of his passives and his damage of course.

if you bought it from the marketplace you can redeem the allies on multiple accounts for free but if you buy it from the vendor you'd have to rebuy it for the 500sm on each toon

Besides buying it from the marketplace not much just outside of general playtime. You can buy some from the Dr. Fate vendor but that isn't the best value for what it costs

Thank you for the info I did not see the reply until reviewing the video a second time. I also noticed how atrocious my grammar and spelling was so I had to correct the first original comment. The main reason I went to see this video a second time is because I wanted to know if I was the only one having an issue where once you summon the Shazam for combat ability, sometimes he just stands there for about 3 or 4 seconds before attacking and by that time all of your teammates and yourself have already done so much intense damage that he has nothing left to do. Other times if you don't attack with any of your powers, he does absolutely nothing It just vanshes.

I dont see the point of having it as a heal ally if using a group or prio heal resets its benefits? Maybe only water where it’s all shields + clarion but for other powers how could it be beneficial by not using a group or prio heal?

The Purity of Heart Support 2 for Shazam Ally has some pros and cons. It’s not well explained, but it’s designed to buff your restoration for a sustained period of time attempting to decrease the need to to hit a priority or group heal as much. In turn, you’re more reliant on your Heal over Time but your HOTs will hit harder due to the buff from Ally Shazam Support 2 ability and you’re more reliant on shields to refrain from hitting a group heal or priority heal. However, if you’re a healer using Purple Healing Ray, Orb of Orion or Page of Destiny then, no, Ally Shazam’s support 2 ability will not benefit you as those arts are dependent on using a group heal or priority heal. Which in turn means now you’re limited on usage of healer arts

As an AOE damage, Shazam is definitely worth it, not for Single 🎯 damage! However, for battle Healer both passives are viable options. At rank 10, for Battle Healer outside of Celestial battle healer which is an outlier, the Shazamly passive is really good and the The Purity of Heart is good is you understand how it works. As a battle healer, passive 2 for Shazam is great because you buff resto indefinitely until you hit a priority or group heal. I admit, 💦 battle healer benefits most because of shield options. Furthermore, support 2 for Shazam works and stacks with demon fang and Clarion Artifacts
