Keep yours ears open for the exhaust bridge or bridges coming off and the exhaust adjustment screws failing on the new GEN 5 DD15’s. Common issue with them. Good video

Done some work on high milage DD15,s and most common issue ive seen is ticking noise sounding like its the compound turbo driven gears but always exhaust leaks from warped manifolds, not badly just enough, have been resurfacing on old cylinder head grainder quite successfully and doing it without draining coolant too or removing turbo from truck, you work it out like i did lol

I have a 2005 international 9400i with low air pressure only getting 63 psi in both tanks. I changed my air governor and air compressor but got the same results. You think perhaps my air dryer needs replaced? I would appreciate your advise. Thanks.

In the career page I have been trying to apply for apprenticeship position for over 2 days and it's not working..I have been in the industry for 8 years and willing to migrate to the USA or Canada to further my training and work there permanently...I definitely know am gonna need little Training on use of advanced equipment so that's why am using the apprenticeship form but not working due to international phone number....I love your work ethics and willing to get more training under your instructions. How do no I go about it now since the application form is not working for me ?

I do valve adjustment every 150-200 k. I believe 500 is too long.

Mmmm... I guess we're all a little different in schedule , I go by hrs, every 100 hrs I grease, even if it only takes a couple of squirts....it makes you look at everything while you're doing it, like fluid levels(rear ends and trans ) and tire pressures. Every 200 hrs( max 250) oil& filter change, also fuel and grease and fluid checks, every second oil change water separator filter and coolant filter(if you have one). It saves big pesos in the long run and let's not forget headaches :)

From looking at the truck market the last 4 years Cascadia with a DD15 used to be 30k. How much are you expecting to resale a plastic truck for in this current market? From the looks of it 700k-1Million on the chassis with a rebuilt or reman engine is not selling for more than 10-30k. You’ll lose on a resale with a new one box and engine

Maintenance system is a joke, it does not know what type of fluid user is using, low quality or high quality. Maintenance system does not test fluid for quality, water, fuel dilution, soot, additives count and contamination. Factory recommendations are for factory to stay in business and owners in debt and broke

Preventive maintenance is the least costly way of obtaining a reliable truck. Oil analysis is the best safeguard to ensure proper oil viscosity.
