This is chapter 3-2 of my FE10 HM 0% growths playthrough, commentated by Mekkah and me. It is completed in 2 turns.
Yeah so this chapter is pretty lame and basic. I should've given Resolve to Oscar to slightly optimize his training regimen.

I always thought, Shinon was under appreciated, since he is a sniper. But his base stats are just so high, thst he caps them easily and you can bxpe lvl up him. Also im the tower, he is the only unit with 1-3 range

1:58 It's interesting how the japanese forge system (selling (usually almost broken) weapons for forge points) means that on that version you would still buy the weaponry because there's no way of getting a lot of forges at this point without essentially doubling the cost of each forge. I was looking to this run for how to deal with that bossfight if you didn't use Ike, those statboosters are making me a bit worried, so let's hope they're only there for a turnsave.

In the JP version, what you’d do is you buy a ton of B rank weapons with the Silver Card (until you’re out of money), sell the Silver Card, then sell most of those weapons for the forge points, keeping only what you need. Rengor says that forging becomes trivial for the GMs past this chapter. You do need Ike to get +2 spd to avoid being doubled by the BK. Everything else there’s ways to work around.

33 displayed crit, 14% Adept (Shinon enters worst bio) Double Adept is 2% Single Adept + any crit is 16.8% No Adept + any crit is 40.8% Add 'em all up and it's 59.6%

@@DD151 Do you have a threshold for that sort of thing (do you ever use ETC? I guess this probably comes out to about 3 turns that way) or is it just a case-by-case thing?

It's a case by case thing but the lower bound of success for an overall chapter strat is probably around 8-10%. Some of the success odds are very difficult to calculate though.
