I actually used to hate the reaction videos of Indian content and used to think they are cringe or made to get more viewership but Achara & Jaby are so much spot on vis a vis their picking up of Indian nuances (which you can't really get via translation, you actually have to be invested in the soul of the movie) that I accept I was entirely wrong. You guys are half Indians now. Love your views and reactions, your sighs , your exclamations. Achara is seldom wrong in guessing intentions and connotations, something you can't get from subtitles alone. Keep doing the Good work. God Bless.

I think different cultures bring up their kids differently. In the Indian / some Asian cultures there is an acknowledgment that your parents have given their whole lives to bring you up so they know you well enough and will look for a spouse who will keep their son or daughter happy too. In Western cultures parents are more than happy to kick their kids out at or before 18 and hence you can see a lot of old and ageing parents in old age homes as their children don't really feel any love or responsibility of caring for them when they need the most support and are most fragile.
