Hi Gaurav, yes the X5 pro rear cam can be used as a cabin cam but you will have to do some adjustments, like you said cable is long so you will have to trim it and make some joints. Also, the rear unit doesn’t support IR for low light recordings so it will be not useful in night driving. your review is great but i have a question. You mounted the cam and installed all the wiring in side rail of roof but how we can do that on cars having 6 airbags? My car has window curtain airbags. How am i suppose to install wiring? And one more thing is missing and that is screen. 20K to 26K pricing dashcam doesn't have screen, that's little awkward.

Nice review sir. I was about to add this to the cart but put that on hold because of lack of motion sensor. That is supposed to be basic feature if you are providing parking mode. Shame.

Hi Friends Want to share my opinion At present Iam having both 70Mai & DDPAI dashcam with my 2 Cars 70mai A800S - in Ecosport (using last 2 years Approx) DDPAI X5 pro 4k - in Skoda Slavia (using 2 Months Approx) In my opinion on the basis of my experience 70mai is far far ( x 1000 times) better then ddpai x5 pro why ? 1- No in build display 2- User interface (UI) is not comfortable (for me) 3- there is provision of SD card . but you cant store your footage directly to the SD card . you have to transfer all data manually from in build storage to card, which really take too much time for transfer. 4- DDPAI should provide option in UI for direct storage of all data / footage to SD card or Internal Storage 5- In parking mode setting there is not enough instruction or description of all 3 modes. 6- LED indications are too much confusing . 7- Rs 5000 costly then 70mai (20000 & 15000). Pro 1- Wire connection (C type with screw ) is very good. in 70mai i am facing connection issue with rear camera pin Dear Friends above are my opinion and experience please buy on your choice and complete research Thank you

Apart from the video image quality from the front camera there are many cons: - NO ADAS or advance features its just typical dashcam which records 2 channel - Nexdigitron is quite bad reseller who do not entertain any complaints - wifi connectivity issue and since there is no screen its very difficult to see videos - overpriced as compared to other dashcam available
