If you don't contribute to the Giant fight when you first walk towards Whiterun in Skyrim, they will actually remark about how you didn't help them. They still come around to inviting you to the Fighter's guild anyway, so there's not really a consequence to it, but it's at least recognized in the moment. But it's also part of the very misleading early vertical slice of Skyrim where the game shows much more depth than the rest of the game actually has (the first mine before Riverwood is another prime example). Skyrim is still my favorite Elder Scrolls game, because sometimes I'm not trying to dive into the deep ocean I just want to relax in a hot tub.

Dynasty Warriors 2 and 8 are good, 3 is the absolute best.

Now that you've finally succumbed to playing Western RPGs (the horror), what are the chances you'd be willing/enjoy playing Divinity Orginal Sin 2 sometime in the future? Gameplay wise it was quite fun and with a decently wide range of endgame choices and story - it was also fun holding onto a collection of grenades and oil flasks to throw at enemies

Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 will be eating my entire Western RPG budget for 2025. I remain dubious of the genre.
