I feel the pain of your having to do the kind of work you are doing and the temperature you are doing it in. I know that you are young but drink plenty of liquids and take care of your health. This 57 chevy is going to be a super nice ride for someone and they will have your videos to brag about how much work it took to make it that nice. 57 Bel Air is my dream car. My grandma had one and she passed it down to my uncle. When I was a tiny kid we'd go cruising in it and my uncle would have me standing by the dash controlling the wolf whistle. He totalled it. I've wanted a 57 since then

I remember my dad came home with a brand new "57 4-door,I was 9 then.I Remenber the leopard upholstery. In 1967 I bought a 2-dr. 210 someone had put in a 348. I didn't know a 283 transmission,etc would bolt up to the 348 after I blew the trans.Good old Chevrolet interchangeability.The old days! I bought that car for $300.Blue 210 with white fins.3 on the floor,hurst pistol grip shifter.

If I was to get the 57 I would leave it a 4 door and make it a family hot rod. Maybe a mini tub and a tunnel ram. Leave the patina for a while and just enjoy the ride. Keep turning thise wrenches my freind.

Matt FRY Amen brother don’t know how many Lincolns and Miller’s I’ve burned into the ground and all my welding was always in the field mostly young guys now wouldn’t even know what a 6010 or 7018 It is all about but you’re right he does do a good job on the floorboards in these conversions

Looks like the 57 giveaway is going great. Keep up the good work and the updated videos on your progress. An again, what a great thing you are doing by giving it away to someone who may not be able to afford an old school hot rod. The only thing is that when you get this one done there will many more to follow, if you wish to keep on going. You've started a great thing. An you can't stop now. Take it as far as you can go with it. Don't make the 57 be the only one. 57,000 subscribers is just a starting point. Imagine having, 57,000,000,000. Then all the cars become free to you. Then you really become a channel all around the world. The question is just how big do you wanna be with it. Great job your doing on the 57. Keep on trucking with it. Freeze water bottles and put them in your back pockets, I do this when I got to paint a car when it's hot out. Keeps my sweating down a ton.
