We just drove my sons 71 Monte with a a 6.0L LS with rec port heads and a truck Norris cam 350 miles from CT to PA, aside from the carbon monoxide poisoning 😂 and broken wipers it was great

Back in the early 70s when I was in the army at FT. Gorden in Georga we took a ride on tabaco road to get some parts for a model A, we stopped at a place I will never forget, this old guy and his wife sitting on their porch. The house was a mess, old and falling down with trash everywhere, dogs, cats and old rusty cars everywhere full of trash and in the old barn that half the wall was gone, there were some Model A's .... lucky I had my shots, so I went looking for what we needed, found what I was looking for and paid the old guy and we left. This is what I think DD Speed Shop will look like in a few years, looking at Dan's shop's now and how he takes care of everything .... well history repeats itself, So, Dani and Dan I can see your future.

Awesome video y’all! I really enjoy the channel in general but I have to say I’m glad y’all took sometime for yourselves. I’ve slowed down a lot with my channel and we started going a different direction in life to try and set the future up better. But my wife and I still get a hotrod out and go cruise around and enjoy each other’s company. My wife’s my best friend and I can see that y’all have a very similar happy dynamic and I dig that! 🤙

I mounted a remote starter switch on the firewall so I didn't need someone in the seat. Just remember to put it in NEUTRAL!!! With the key off, so it won't start

Kim wanted to go to Banff. I said too touristy. Not my cup o tea. And the roadside maintenance is necessary with a hot rod with a high performance mill. Drumheller is a must see. We go once a year for the family visit. I dunno Dan, every build you do seems like a thrash. Non stop. Im glad you are taking time to enjoy the cars and do a little travelling. Still curious about the move,looking forward to seeing the new digs. I’d offer to help but all i could do is supply a truck and trailer.

For some reason, this came into my head, I remembered an old Chevy commercial that had a '55 in it that was maroon with a Bow-Tie on the deck lid called "The Equalizer" in the early '70s.
