I just came back to say that your videos helped me SO SO SO SO much!!!! I am literally CRYING AND HYPERVENTILATING as I type this. I binge-watched your videos from Jan. 27th (when I first applied) up until Mar. 3 (my loop interview). I can report today that I GOT THE JOB!!!!!!!!! This would not have been possible without you! You are doing great work! It's worth it - every single minute of every single video is worth it. I have applied to Amazon EIGHT times since 2019 and wasn't able to even get a phone interview. With the help of your guidance and expertise, I'm officially an Amazonian!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Hi GG - Thank you for all the guidance that you have been providing. Your content is really helpful. If we have spoken about an example for one of the leadership principle during the phone interview, can that example be repeated in the loop once or should none of the examples mentioned in the phone interview be repeated in the loop?

I have my panel coming up on Friday for a nontech Program manager role with Amazon. Any advice on what to do and expect? Hi GG! Thanks for all your content, it’s been extremely helpful since day1! I’ll have the loop interview in a couple weeks, they’ve said it’s gonna be between 4-5 interviewers. I wanted to ask how does that internal process work during and after the interviews (days to let me know, who decides) ? And also how likely is it to get the job once you’re in the loop stage? And is it the stage where you are supposed to give some salary expectations?
@amazoninterviewwhizzdayone5032 жыл бұрын
After your loop the de-brief should happen writing 4 days. There’s no published data on loop conversion rates-my experience it runs between 30-50%. In my opinion you should share your salary expectations before you have your first interview.

Hello GG! Would be great if you can do a video on what to do when you did 'not inclined no recycle" at the very last stage. I failed after 3.5 months of prep, 71 page of written stories, 3 assesment tests and 8 interviews. I feel so sad! The recruiter said over the phone that I can still apply for IC role (I was initially trying to get a manager one). But then when I mailed for the confirmation-he is no longer responding. Internet says that I cant apply and has to wait 6-12 months. So I am very confused. Really want to work for Amazon, and dont want to give up so easily. Whats more, I cant wait for 6-12 months, because my work autorization will expire soon, and I ll have to live the country. Please help!

Ignore the internet. Unless your recruiter tells you you have a moratorium period, you don’t. Hi GG I have a question please, does passing the phone interviews and moving to the panel means that those people saw that you are raising the bar or is raising the bar only constrained to the loop
@amazoninterviewwhizzdayone5032 жыл бұрын
An interviewer is meant to believe that you could be a bar-raising candidate in order to pass you to the next round. The definitive decision of if you ARE bar raising happens at Loop.

Hi GG, some quick questions on this. Will I be asked same questions by all the interviewers across the 5 rounds? As in the first round itself I was asked most of the questions by the hiring manager. Can I repeat same examples at least couple of times across all the 5 interview rounds? How do I understand that I am giving a bar raiser round vs one of the 5 rounds? Can I use some personal life situations or everything has to be part of my professional life?
@amazoninterviewwhizzdayone5032 жыл бұрын
You shouldn’t get the same question repeated- sometimes it happens accidentally Best not to repeat if you can avoid it Knowing who the Bar Raiser is won’t help in any way, so don’t worry about it Avoid personal stories unless you’re just coming or are only 1-2yrs out of school

Hello GG, I've been devouring your content ever since I found out I passed my assessment for a Cloud Support Associate! I do have a question though. Do you have any insight on why the hiring process laid out in my first email asking me to complete an assessment would have changed after I took the assessment? The 1st email said it would consist of 2 separate interviews, 1st technical/behavioral then a final interview if I did well on that, then an offer if I did well on the final interview. After passing my assessment though, it changed to a single 2-hour long interview, then an offer if I pass that interview. Are they just combining the 1st and final interviews?

@@amazoninterviewwhizzdayone503 thank you for taking the time to reply. That makes sense, I just thought it was a bit weird since from the 1st email, to the assessment, to the “congrats” email w/the different process was less than 48hrs, which is pretty efficient if you think about it.

To answer your query specifically as confirmed by GG as well. I was asked questions based on different LPs. I did a personal debrief after my loop and I was able to identify 11 LPs although as GG and Evgeniy have mentioned in other sessions that sometimes questions for one LP might sound like another. So do not focus on the LP but rather the question on the STARL format as GG keeps mentioning. I wish you the very best and I know you will do well.
