My thought. Selena is in her old house where she spent a lot of time with Justin. According to what Justin said in an old interview, him and Selena spent a lot of time living together at one point that it was like they were a married couple. In the video 0:19, Selena wakes up and next to her there's an empty spot. The pillow looks like someone used to sleep there (Justin). Then at 0:28, the pillow fills up because no one sleeps there anymore. At 1:32, Selena is in a storage room with representations of old magazines(1:47), records, and more. Plus, at 1:36, you can see what might symbolize Justin's guitare. At 1:46, there's a magazine that looks like Selena and Demi (remember the drama about Demi's finsta?). At 1:58, she gets rid of those items and at 2:41 Selena leaves the house and the house is empty. In real life, Selena sold one of her houses and bought a new one. There's a lot more but overall I think it's about Selena gracefully moving on from her past. PS, I'm not saying I'm correct. This is just a thought.

Life is full of ups and downs, happiness and sorrow. This is just the way I understand the music video. The storm represents the sad things that happened in the past. It took everything she has, even the passion for music (the guitar that flew away). In the end, we see see her staying in an empty room. All that left is her heart and she will always be vulnerable and loving. Selena always trusted people unconditionally, but at the same time her heart was always unprotected from sorrow and pain. This means that her heart has learned from the past and developed an armor to protect her in the future. I truly love the visuals and the song. It just made me realize that you always have to be vulnerable to love someone. Love without vulnerability is not the same. We grow with our past, feelings and emotions. We shouldn’t be scared to show our vulnerable side. That’s what makes us humans.
