And to think, they brought the #24 back for 2001, but the late Ricky Hendrick drove it.

I wonder if NBC had originally thought about just having a two man booth with BP and Allen, or they had planned for a 3rd member the whole time?
@NotSteveCook3 жыл бұрын
In early 2001, NBC did a mock play-by-play (off air) with Allen, BP, and Geoff Bodine. Come Daytona in July, that deal hadn't been agreed to (maybe because of Geoff's racing plans for later in the year), and the rideless Dallenbach signed a one-year contract with NBC/TNT.

Can't believe how different NASCAR is now from 2000. Didn't seem that long ago, doesn't feel like 13 freaking years

This NBC theme is so good!! It never gets discussed. But the lazy starting lineup is weak.

And if I'm not mistaken the last race for JG Motorsports (I'm not sure if they ran Busch in 2001)
@kingofrunescapepking13 жыл бұрын
To this date, still Jeff Gordon's last Busch (now Nationwide) race.
@kingofrunescapepking11 жыл бұрын
He hasn't run a Nationwide race since. And he still needs a Cup win at Kentucky, which hopefully will happen soon

@CaseyTheHedgehog1 As far as I know Kyle Petty was in this race driving Adam's car. As he did most of 2000.
