I got the same same from zalman. Use to drip not matter how I screw it even using teplon tape to help. I suppose that can be fixed But the main problem is the noise of the propellers or axe plus a lot of mud I dont know from where it comes even after 2 deep clean. Mine is retired but I will keep trying.

Mine just worked, worked, worked, and just stopped. And I'm like WTF. I could tell immediately because resuming the ocmputer from sleep, the fan started revving higher and higher when normally it stays silent, and I put it back to sleep immediately and was like WTF, did my pump stop? Shut it down, feel the heatsink at the base and hot hot hot. Let it cool down for a white, try it again, same. Try plugging and unplugging the power header, no change. Either its not gettng power, the pump has failed, or glycol leaked out. I'm guessing no power or pump fail, so I'm going to test for power with a standard fan plugged into the header, and if it works, the whole damn stupid thing has to come out and I have to tear it down. That would be a pain in the ass when I was in my 20's but doable. Now that I'm in my 50's and almost completely blind, it's going to be a royal pain in the ass. Last year when I built these PCs out of used parts, I could barely find the screw holes to mount the board to the case. Built and fixed thousands of PCs throughout my lifetime. When you get old, you sudden realize they don't design tech things to be friendly to old people. Tiny solder pads a person can't see on quad copters flight controllers, etc. It's bullsh1t. I started hacking as a kid on a 1mghz VIC-20 I bought with my own money, when computers weren't cool and nobody had one. BTW, try not to drink that "sweet watercooler water", its got glycol / antifreeze in it which is poisonous. I don't know how poisonous, but it's been used to commit suicide or kill people in the past. The water coming out shouldn't of been clear, it's not pure water, it shold of been green liquid and a 50/50 mix. It's nothing but the same antifreeze 50/50 mix you put in your car. I mean, you probably can use just straight up plain water, it's never likely to boil or freeze in a computer system, but my assumption is that the antifreeze might have a few additional rust inhibiting chemicals in it. I doubt that's true, but that's what they market it as. Someone probably fixed this before, drained out the old, refilled with straight up water, and what you're tasting is the residue of the glycol that was still in there from before. To clean those copper fins out of gunk, blast in water from the side to blast the gunk out the other side, the side it was pulled in. You can clean out air fans the same way, by blowing really hard, hitting it with an aircompressor from the clean side. The gunk was probably the minerals natural in most water. The slight green or yellow color was from a previous few drops of glycol left in system. Like I said, do not drink this stuff, it is poison. You know enough to be dangerous, but you'll make a great computer tech some day, keep at it. 10 more years and you'll be a pro, or at least believe you are lol. If you had cleaned out the fins, fixed any leaks, refilled with 50/50 cooler, it probably would of worked again. These damn closed loop water coolers are expensive. In my 30 years of tech, this is my first one I've ever used, and I got it in a deal. BTW, the best way to clean ot all the dust from inside a PC is to take it outside, and crank up an electric leaf blower and blast it out from every angle inside with the leaf blower. First thing I do to any PC anybody brings me and they almost always need it. Hit it with a leaf blower. It won't hurt anything. Random FYI, lead (Pb) is also sweet. The Romans made their first water pipes out of lead, and would get drunk on the sweet taste of the water or wine stored in lead containers, and end up going blind from it.

Next Premiere remember, preparation is key: 1) Isopropyl Alcohol 2) Kitchen Towel 3) Compressed Air (if not air compressor ready to go) 4) Rags. This probably failed due to lack of regular maintenance rather than just the electronics but also the environment it was placed in. As for why flowed out when it did, gravity does wonders over time. But that looks reasonable (the cooling solution) for 5-6 years of 5 days each week use. Seen and worked on ones which are horrible from less use than that and more use than that.

Lol. U pulled the drain plug, and flipped it over expecting a flow of coolant, while the source of coolant is in the radiator which is below the level of where u were holding the pump. Lol. All u had to do is pick up the radiator above the pump, to let the coolant gravity feed out!! And looking at the components, looks like Thermaltake and Corsair both use the same source for AIO supplier, and just ink screened their logo on the top pump cover!! It looks identical to the Corsair H50, H55.

I found out why my 1600 was overheating, the Corsair AIO decided to die. i replaced it with a Noctua NH-U12A. It's running at better temperatures.

yeah ikr, you'd think a sealed system with various additives would not have the issue of growths like that but nope

It's all copper salts that's why the gunk is green, there is rarely any bacterial growth in aio's since there's nothing to feed on and the environment is so hostile to organisms.

New fear unlocked🔓 I always keep my PC on I just keep it idle and sometimes even games open on it... And two days ago my AIO died and i had left my PC 4 hours on idle... Went to play and thought fan spinning too fast... Thought to check the radiator and i felt no heat at all... So i thought the PC isn't heat 💀💀... But just in case turned on icue app to check temp and cpu was 100...

How old was that before it failed? Also, how long should one expect an average AIO to last. I thought mine was dead on my coming up on three year old gaming system because of CPU overtemp errors and crashes. However, the problems seems to have resolved itself for now. To be on the safe side I purchased an Be Quiet 4 air cooler and I intend to swap the AIO out.

Everybody acts like a heckin doctor and keep telling that "yEaH iT's eThYlEn GlYcOl AnD iT kIlLs YoU". Man. The amount... that he took... is just waywayway more less than dangerous. You can give it a sip and you will make it without any problem. One cup maybe get you dizzy and have a small (very little for real but could be permanent) damage on the kidneys. Actually it's pretty hard for an average grown human to die from that thing. So don't worry, he will not die after all. But thank you for every health guide advices you've been spaming in the comments. I don't encourage anyone to drink antifreeze like you did it once to your mother's milk, but i'm here to tell you that if you're in a similar situation, you don't have to run to the closest hospital because you'll be fine.

The whole blabbering about business pc and water cooler is unnecessary bs. Any cooler can fail and you can be sure you won’t see it coming to that point. It’s not exclusive to water cooler. Thing is if you can do away with a cheap or stock air cooler then don’t bother getting an aio.

Sorry but 75% over talking. There is no water in liquid coolers anymore, if there is it's a shitty Alibaba company who made it or you did it your self. The liquid in these systems are safe for the computer, but is a mess to clean up, but you computer should survive without problems if it leaks or "explode".
