These are alway great to listen to, it makes something like a zombie apocalypse a lot more real, people arent fighting zombies 24/7, people have to eat even the military. Also it would be interesting to see a zombie story that involve teenagers/ college student, even if there a zombie apocalypse there had to be kids hold up in classrooms. And realistically many people would be in school.

I think a metal little league bat would be ideal. Versatile, powerful, and short so it can be wielded one handed and in tight quarters. Plus since it's blunt, you don't have to worry about it getting stuck.

Is that an AI narrator? I was SO excited about this channel.....but I can't seem to get into any of the stories....I blame the voice, telling them lol. As much as myself I guess

yes, this is an AI narrator. The first 90 stories or so in the main series, and the entirety of the 19 part LowCountry standalone series, is human narrated. Long story short is that after I ran out of my back catalog I ran into a dilemma. If I kept doing human narration, I could afford to do a new story every 3-4 months, but if I switched to AI, I could do 3-4 hours worth of stories every week. I opted for the AI. The good news is, the voices are getting better.

I know this is not really relevant (plot armor and such) but small city storm sewer pipelines are not like some in New York city. Most will be only 20” - no one is crawling through those; at the most they are maybe 36”, barely large enough for small people to crawl through. None are big enough to walk through. I have opened hundreds of them in my job. Opening a manhole cover from outside with a tire iron is possible but not easy. As for neighborhood sanitary sewers? Lol… 4” pipes to 12” pipes

Its due to simple economics. I have a choice. I can use AI and have 3-4 hours of new stories every week. Or I can pay for human narration and have a 2 hour story every 3-4 months.

I'm not sure if you are aware but they have this really neat thing on KZbin! It goes like this: if you don't like and/or enjoy it then you don't have to listen to it. It's very cool. Nobody makes you listen! You just do this thing (they call it scrolling) where you keep going until you find something you like. Crazy, right?!?! Did you know you can even search for exactly what you want to listen to?! I know! I couldn't believe it at first either. If you can't figure it out, please don't worry! Just find any child over the age of 5 or 6 and they can help you look for whatever makes you happy. So neat! On another note, thank you Derek Slaton! You make so many of us happy with each upload! Personally I’m thankful to have Mr Derek’s stories. I can’t get enough. The use of AI voices is ok by me. Frankly, I’m amazed at how good the voices gotten. I suspect the creative act is matching the proper voice to the writing genre. I think Derek has done an outstanding job in this regard.
