I know the perfect format for a Dead by Daylight movie: An anthology horror. Here's how it goes. Four people sit around a campfire, and they take turns telling stories about the Killers. At the end, it's revealed that they're being stalked by another Killer, and the movie ends on a cliffhanger.

Anthology series, 4 at the campfire tell the story bases of the story, then the trial starts with that killer, in between the chases you get to see survivor interactions and the killer being scary, with some scenes also showing how they got here. It ends with some sacrifices and some escapes. That's the first episode, at the start of every episode forwards, the archives open and the observer expands on the entity for a brief intro that leads to the campfire.

I do think it would be pretty cool to see the hypothetical films that each of the original killers in DbD came from because we do have a few survivor-killer pairings and enough hints to get a general sense of what each story was like along with where the killers came from. Could be nice to explore that part of the lore.

True, but they aren't doing individual movies. No way. If anything I'd hope they do an evil group of killers Neon Maniacs style, but let each of them have a hype kill and death to distinguish them and just shrug at the group existing because outerversal horror is creating avatars.

@@derrickhaggard That’s a horrible idea though. Every time an asymmetrical game gives survivors the objective to kill the killer, it backfires. The lure of playing killer is feeling powerful. If that sense of power is taken away, then people don’t want to play anymore. A hide and seek gamemode would be much more fitting, since it can change the objectives drastically, yet still keep the killer role feeling powerful.

​​@@HB-fq9nnsee, that's why you don't make it that way from the start. Let's say that the game starts with the survivors trying to obtain several hidden items, we'll call them charms. Maybe they have to find them, maybe they craft them from specific things in the environment, it doesn't matter exactly. Before the survivors obtain all of these charms, they are just as weak and vulnerable as normal. In addition, weapons like pitchforks, handguns, or pipe bombs spawn around the map, though they only slow the killer down for now. Lastly, Memento Moris don't work in this mode. Can't equip them. However, once they DO have them, there's a short cutscene or environment shift that shows the Entity is no longer protecting or guiding the Killer. Also, those weapons now deal actual damage. The killer can only take so many hits before going down. That said, there's two limitations: first, the Killer can wreck the Charms to restore their connection to the Entity. This sets the game back to the way it was, except now the Entity is desperate for vengeance and any downed survivor operates as though a Mori was used. The other limitation is that the charms have a limited run time, so you cannot just camp all of the charms to win. You need to seek and kill the Killer to win. One final thing: when the Entity is banished, it's possible to escape. Survivors can just run for it and achieve a minor victory. Also, when the Entity returns, the Hatch opens some time after (randomized between 30 and 180 seconds after, to make camping the hatch a poor idea). The players can attempt the banishment ritual again if they want, as new materials for charms spawn when the Entity returns. If this is successful, it's an instant loss for the Killer as they've had enough chances and the Entity kills them itself out of frustration and anger. This way, there's never a game state where one side feels hopeless and the other feels too strong. There's always a chance to pull out the victory.

Using Castlevania music in this video aged very well. Also, thanks for the video, it’s the main reason I started the game and I love it! I think my only major issue with the game is the netcode causing players to warp around the map. It causes issues that don’t feel like anyone’s fault.

im not a huge fan of the perk system, having variety is great but dbd's perk system sacrafises alot of the visual clarity. Due to how many perks there are you have no clue what one killer or surviver has in the heat of a match when important information like that could really help you change how you alter you play style around it, not to say you cant work out what some perks people have are but some perks just lack the same critical information you might need in a match to work around it. its variety over consistentcy

Dead by Daylight is a fun game. Most favorite Killer to play as is Michael Myers. I really don't have a favorite Survivor to play as I like all of the Survivors and don't mind playing as any of them.

11:15 as a person who has been playing this game for 2 years now, I agree with the majority of people that the nurse is the strongest character in DBD, The Nurse is easily the most powerful and newer players really struggle with her. However, if you are an experienced player and actually learn how to use her power she becomes a god tier killer capable of sweeping teams in less than 2 minutes

6:34 it's not really that hard to repair the generators mainly because you know when the killer is coming because of their terror radius (the music that plays as they get closer and closer) and the heartbeat which also gets more intense as they get closer to you. And for the Skillchecks (quick time events), they're sometimes hard for new players to hit but after playing for a little bit, you'll get that hang of it, missing a skillcheck is unlikely for most players because there is a sound cue that warns you that the skill check is about to appear and it plays at a fair amount of time before the skillcheck itself actually appears

as someone with 800 hours on this game, i can say its very fun for newer players but it starts getting really boring after you buy most of the license chapters and have almost everyone up with prestige 1+. you need friends to carry some enjoyment for this game later on and i don't really know much people who still play this game

@@ZombieGangsterI started the game recently…yeah it’s fun. I’m not a fan of how Nemesis plays unfortunately, but I do like The Doctor, Hag, Deathslinger, Wesker, and Amanda play. Also, the fact Throgi used Castlevania music in this video aged pretty well. Can’t wait to play as Dracula only to get a pallet dropped on me and I see Simon Belmont teabagging on the other side.
