I've never tried on purpose, but I've listened to this songs so many times that I can sing along with it, note for note.

How captivating! My son introduced me to Dead Can Dance almost 20 years ago and I have been a fan ever since. I know you did this many years ago but this has to be absorbed (sight and sound). You made a wonderful marriage here! I have come to believe you have been given a gift and am so thankful I have found you!

I've been mesmerized with "Dead Can Dance" since I first heard "The Ubiquitous Mr. Lovegrove". They really came through at times when I was going through a lot of challenges and happy times and really helped me relax. I love them! I used to run out to the dance floor in a Goth club called "Neo" in 1996, had a dance part of from this ceremonial Filopino Dance I learned from a best friend in High school. It just fit the music. ❤ I adore this song, it stirs something in me.

i still have this concert on VHS. I don't think it ever made it to CD/DVD. This was back in 1994.

Like Pat said, very well done ! The mountains, holy cow, beautiful & cold. Nice to learn about the way other folks live & I liked the music. Nice sitar playing.

It's a dulcimere a very difficult instrument to play. But Lisa Gerrard comes from a distant galaxy, she is not human. So she plays it easy

This was the first DCD song I heard and I was captivated from the start. I wish the entire Toward The Within concert was available.

This video is great ! And I’m so glad it was made: it’s exceptionally nice work. ❤️ but I wonder what happened to the video availability on KZbin of this song-video from the old video-cassette, wherein there are multiple percussionists (seen) and she’s (Lisa Gerrard is) playing a hammar-dulcimer… and in between songs, Brendan Perry talks about picking up a very large “goblet drum” someplace abroad…Turkey, I think he says…🤔

@JVbin Thanks for your feedback, it's always welcome. Everything you've brought up is absolutely correct; I confess to putting it together in a bit of a hurry :) I'm glad you enjoyed it though! You seem to have an image of how Baraka could be edited and presented, why don't you have a go? I'd love to see and hear your vision!

@LouiseCerrutti I'm not sure what that particular ceremony with the paint, is about; Someone might tell us eventually. I used to have dreads Pip, but they were nowhere near as long as this guy's!
