Should have gotten either the PAL or Japanese port of this games. They are more complete and addicting to play than the American port.

UPDATE: Okay so I looked into it a bit more, and you _are_ actually able to download the European or Japanese version of the game as long as you already own the North American version digitally. All you need to do is uninstall the North American version, go into your console settings and change your location to either UK or Japan, then restart your system. You can then download that region's version of Dead or Alive 3 at no extra cost, and it'll stay that version even if you switch your location back, as long as you don't delete the game. I've gone ahead and added these steps to the video description. I hope this helps!

@@8-bitbasementGreat! Those versions have a new CG opening alongside the gameplay opening, characters have new attacks, the sidestepping now allows you to dodge most attacks, the Analog Sticks can be used when the Analog Button setting is turned off, and the characters have more outfits of course.

Is it worth getting just for these games? I've been struggling weather or not to get it just for the classic DOA series, Bungie Halo, Rumble Roses XX and Sonic Unleashed. I don't really care much for it being digital and since this series is stuck on it I dunno weather to get a 360 or Series S.

So first off I'll say that Microsoft's implementation of backwards compatibility actually feels like black magic sometimes. These 20 year old games really do look beautiful on the Series S/X. Some games, like the Sonic titles, even have 60fps boosts on the Series S/X that really breathe new life into their console versions. For these reasons alone I'd skip the 360 and go straight to the Series S at the very least. If you do decide to go that extra mile and get a Series X, even better, because if you own any of these games physically you can just pop them into the system and play without any additional purchase. Some of these games, like Sonic Generations, also get a native 4k resolution boost which makes an even bigger difference visually, but I think this may be exclusive to the Series X. On Series S, I'm pretty sure they're only bumped up to 1440p, which I'm sure is still going to be noticeable to a lot of people. As someone who primarily plays on PlayStation, I've always felt like Microsoft's implementation of backwards compatibility is still a solid reason to own a Series S/X. There's enough games on that list that haven't received a port/remaster to current-gen consoles that make it worth it to me, and if you throw in Game Pass and the fact that the system can run emulators pretty effortlessly, you've actually got yourself a great investment that separates it enough from what Sony and Nintendo offer.

The boss fight is so lame. It got very good graphic(at its time) but lost too much costumes if comparing to 2 or 4. But I still surprise when seeing it rescale and can play on new next gen console. And maybe this is the only version got more male than female characters.

Yeah the boss fight was definitely one of the more annoying ones in the series, but it looked awesome. I'll always enjoy Dead or Alive 3 and appreciate how it moved the series forward, but Dead or Alive 2 Ultimate and 4 are still king in my mind if only because they felt a lot more complete.
