Me: "Ok, i know this games bad, but I'll play it anyway just to experience it." (Plays it) Me afterwards: (somehow found it kinda enjoyable) I know it's not a Dead Rising game, but i think this was secretly going to be a spin off. But of course, they titled it Dead Rising 4 in hopes it would sell more instead of coming up with a random title like "Dead Rising: The Holiday Outbreak" or something.

As a turn your brain off and kill zombies in an open world game it's not that bad. As a big Dead Rising fan it does so much that just goes agaisnt the series. It's pretty much the exact opposite that I wanted from a DR game. Glad the Deluxe Remaster came out so this wasn't the last game in the series. I admit I kind of like the Holiday theme though.

I think it's pretty great. It's the worst Dead Rising but it's got a decent Christmas vibe for me. Music, presents, enemy types. Honestly feels like a cold winter's night in the undead holidays.

I only played two of these games, 2 and 4. I quit the second game because of the constant timed objective to get zombrex for katie and I quit this game because of how insufferable frank west is.

I played this last year and really liked it, almost as much as 3, haven't played the first 2 tho, but i will, starting with the new remaster, those games better be the biggest masterpieces ever, otherwise it doesn't make sense how much hate this one gets
