And there's no real way to keep getting continued monetization out of them, which is what EA really wants. Sure they can put in microtransactions to 'skip the grind' but the majority of people beat a single player once and don't return(at least that tends to be what I've seen. Please correct me if I'm wrong, I know I break that mold at least). All these multiplayer games have infinite potential for that in their eyes.

@@LegalHotline Im glad someone else noticed the great music in that game. Yes as just a game, it's still a great game. But it isn't scary and if you want a horror game it will disappoint. MY biggest problem with the game is how they changed the ammo and weapons. You can only have 2 (but they can act as 4). But the biggest issue for me is the ammo. Universal ammo just kills the fun for me. The most fun thing in a survival game is the ammo conservation. You know being like "I only have 5 shots of this but I have 16 of this, so I'll use THIS". that kind of thing is gone. Now you might as well just use the biggest and most powerful guns because if you waste ammo using a plasma cutter, that ammo could have gone to a more powerful gun. I still forced myself to use the plasma cutter mostly just cus Iike that style of play

Dead space 3 was better with co-op, I remember one part when carver was hallucinating and he could only see the monsters and other trippy shit only on his screen which was my favorite part of the whole series, maybe due to the fact that issac could barely see half of what was on carvers screen, or the whole concept of your mind playing tricks on you

LORDFROMUDD the biggest scare I had from the series happens in that one elevator where the the walls get filled with up-close faces of his family and they slowly turn into nightmare-fuel. A shame the game gets a lot better as Carver, because I had nobody to play with.

Second game improves telekinesis, improves weapon (some weapons in the first game are either useless or have useless alt fire), improves the sound and gives isaac a voice. It also has some creepy npcs and setpieces. I love the decompression places too

@@pandasbass7267 over 2 years late I know but little interesting trivia about why Isaac doesn't talk in Dead Space 1. It's because it was one of the rules set by Glen Schofield, the creative director of Dead Space, even if it became harder has a result to write the story. They pretty much had it has a rule because Glen and the team were fans of Half Life 2 so they wanted the Gordan Freeman route with Isaac.

Dead Space wasn’t my favorite series out there, but it was certainly an interesting one. I really, really love how you’re almost always in control of Isaac (even in scenarios that in other games would be non-interactive cutscenes), and the diegetic HUD really helped with immersion.

Really glad to see Dead Space 2 and 3 running ar 60 fps on Series X with FPS Boost now. I love survival horror and action survival horror games and it has prompted me to finally play through this series for the first time as I missed this series when it was released. Looking forward to both the upcoming Dead Space remake, as well as the Callisto Protocol, which looks like a Dead Space spiritual successor as it’s made by the same original dev team that made Dead Space. Probably looking forward more to Callisto Protocol as a result. Right now anyway. And we should be getting both next year possibly. EA should have never disbanded Visceral Games. Really nice to see triple A single player survival horror games making a comeback.

Honestly despite being 10 years old, I still think this game from it's gameplay, sound design and graphics and unique aspects like stasis and Zero-G segments are so effective and stand out even today. It's one of the most finely crafted horror games that I've played and may ever get to play considering the sad state the series is in now it's literal gone thanks to EA. There's just something special about this game that when you play it, there's a level of care and polish put into it and it's ambitious premise, that still builds off of famous movies and games within the genre that is infectious and easy to sit down and appreciate. I also never really remembered the lack of a hud outside of certain menus and actual cutscenes but they are so effective in making you immersed in the game and truly feel isolated and alone. Any fan of horror or third person shooters should try it out at some point.

Iv been watching you for years and I rarely miss an upload but man I gotta finally say that you are by far the loudest human iv ever seen. If I turn my TV down to the point where j cant hear any of the gameplay of the game your completing, I can still hear you yelling in my ear.
