I'm a year late to this but I couldn't resist commenting, even if nobody ever reads it. Both green and blue played absolutely out of their minds. SO tenacious, rebooming after being almost destroyed, then both coming back to be the clear top 2 players. Props to Emma for the comeback she made as well because she very easily could have just said fuck it and died. But she boomed back up to be one of the most influential players in the game towards the end. Props to orange for being an absolute menace with the king snipes! THIS was one of my favorite community games I've seen. Very well played and entertaining right from the start. Let this be a lesson! When a player is almost dead, KILL THEM OFF before going away to do other things! Oh and how could I forget the toxic blue/purple relationship LMAO god I loved this game.

This is probably the most fun game I saw in the channel. Basically this was the history of Europe. Someone dominates but everyone else sees it and decides to gang up, but couldn't finish because historically they were enemies and eventually turn on each other. Blue was Napoleon and Orange was Britain, Blue had the clear dominance on land and Orange got the seas, but they can't finish each other off.

It looked to me the reason was because of green because he started attacking her around that time, but for some reason she continued marching her troops through your base. You're right, because without spectator chat it's difficult to discern what was going on there.

To be fair we actually had a restart before this game because the wrong map and settings were loaded. I feel bad for doing that to mitmit but at the same time, it’s not a tournament game just community game and I knew I was one of the lowest so I tried to use the settings to my advantage

@@soccerdwa I think her failing to build a navy was a big problem here. Earlier in the game when she was in a better position she could have started building trade cogs and begun trading with the dead player's docks until she built up enough gold to be a significant threat... But it's obvious she had other priorities. Slavs don't have a great navy either so it's not like she couldn't have contested it from you. All in all for me it was part of what made the late game developments so disappointing. I think the least deserving player won in the end.

I think orange had that game if they went for it. Water control and more gold and stone and plenty of fish so wood was not really an issue. The relics would not have been enough. Orange could have easily invaded again and used their gold advantage to win.
