That was probably the most entertaining community game of this year so far. :) So many events, hilarious fails and successes. The monk of the cape, the incredible purple's king escape, green's lack of diplo... Sometimes players this days may be too calculating. And the drastic moves and turnarounds make it thrilling. And Tristan made a great move at the beginning to rock the boat attacking Azu. :) Castle dropping, raiding fish, towering and then going for scouts all in a short span of time - it was extremely bold play. Honestly, I expected him to lose the first initial round of pushing and then getting wrecked, but purple managed to achieve some moderate amount of success, even if it was temporary. Of course, I doubt that he is 700 elo. 11 And all the other players contributed greatly to the dynamics of the game.

This was such an entertaining diplo regicide game. Tristan with his antics, played really well, that king escape was really the highlight. Green was annoying too lol, hopefully he figures out his diplo. Orange played really well, deleting wonder and still winning the game in the end, first time seeing it happen lol. The 7 relics really helped him. gg wp!

As entertaining as Tristan was this game, shoutout to Some Noob for being in a 3vs1 and somehow coming up on top. Funnily enough, I think the main reason that he won (other than his snipe) was the fact that green built a wonder. If teal and green stay allied then who knows what would have happened.

Another great display of the Italian Civ too. Many sleep on the Genoese Crossbow but its power against cavalry and ships can catch many enemies of guards and tip the scales of the battle.

they should add an ability with heavy demo or petards or something to sink bogs or blast channels to connect waterways, kinda like onager with treelines! would be an interesting way to modify / add more dynamics to water play

The moment T90 said orange had no clue, orange had already had a clue and noticed what was happening. He went to build the blockade from outside from outside. After that had been built he closed it up. You can see on the map that orange was sending villagers to build stone walls. Bad on purple for dawdling and bad on T90 for fixating on the king and not checking up everywhere else.

Well that was quite chaotic. Teal coming it at the perfect moment to save Purple was like the riders of Rohan... if the riders of Rohan were actually on their way to invade someone else and just stumbled upon Minas Tirath being attacked. Really good foresight from orange at the end. "Not my fault I forgot it was diplo" Maybe ya should've allied yellow then when you learned and he was asking you to repeatedly? :P

I loved that the only moment that orange spoke in the match was right at the end. By shifting the blame to green for sniping teal, when there was no other player left to be fooled by the diplo talk but green himself. Master of deception

This reminds me of a game I played way back not long after AoE2 came out. I forgot the map name, but everyone had their own island there was a lot of water. Anyway, I was Vikings, and blue, and I lost all but 1 ship. No one could catch me ship, and no one could see me on the mini map as I blended in if I wasn't moving. I trolled them for a good 45 minutes before they finally agreed to let me join the alliance and let the game end.

That would explain orange killing purple king right after, and purple complaining about teal. the position the two knights are at 1:08:27 and the position they actually meet the king later implies the knights were manually ordered to move towards the king, right? In general orange was super aware of things this game, the realization on that snipe attempt from purple was the most impressive to me. I was a bit skeptical to be honest but credits to him. Loved purple's attitude, a hero this game.
