So many people still think Paul is a straight up hero. From my experience with people who’ve seen the film, about half of them actually understand how tragic the ending is. They really need a third film, but they won’t love it..
Well, people didn't understand that when the book came out, that's why Herbert made the next two. And that's why a third movie is needed, to put things in perspective and see the full arc of Paul.

One of my favorite quotes from Game of Thrones---"If you think this story is going to have a happy ending, then you haven't been paying attention." This is what I tell people that have seen the Dune movies, but have not read the novels.

I keep seeing these videos of audiences, after a viewing of Dune: Part 2, they have a Q&A with Denis and other prominent cast/crew. First, why are these happening eight months after the movie came out (awards promo?) and second, how can I be part of one of these audiences?
Bein.. you know, the thing is that… tsé 😂 on l’aime Denis! ❤

I want to see an epic love story in part 3 with great dialogues, iconic moments, pain and suffering, and many more emotional moments-something like Outlander (S1-3) and Dawson's Creek (S1-4), Titanic Floating Clouds, In the Mood for Love, The Age of Innocence, Elvira Madigan. Dune Part Two was like a teasing flick in terms of love story. I hope Zendaya learns some acting skills this time. I wish they had cast Monica Barbaro as Chani from A Complete Unknown.

In a perfect world Souheila Yacoub would have been cast as Chani. In the few minutes she was on screen she stole every scene and actually made me believe she was a true Fremen. Zendaya's acting was the weakest point of the movies for me, I never believed for a second she was a tough and hardened Fremen warrior. But, we live in this world, where movies like this need bign "stars" to get the attention they need.

Try traveling back in time to 1974 with about 10 million dollars. That should do it.

I'm not sure if you actually want to watch that. It was supposed to be a 14 hours long psychedelic trip from Jodorowsky's mind. I his own words, he "raped" the DUNE book and made a completley different story (in the end Paul dies, just to name one small detail...).
