They say if you try to please everyone... YOU END UP PLEASING NO ONE. AND 7 YEARS LATER IT WAS WORSE. NOW I REALLY WANNA TELL HIM STRAIGHT UP THAT THE PLACE IS DEAD EVERYTIME I GO THERE. NOSTALGIA IS BIG NOW AND HE NEEDS TO KNOW HIS AUDIENCE.

Really respect this guy and what he's doing. Sounds like he's really putting his heart and soul in keeping this landmark alive, while trying to keep the appeal to all ages as well. Hopefully the FGC in the area will support it and there will be room for expansion to make it even bigger and better. :D

He sounds like a nice old man just trying to satisfy everyone in a really tough industry. Good interview and hopefully CTF can come back!

This is going to be the same arcade we known and loved but something different. It's apparent of where the direction is going with this arcade, so I guess if players want their hardcore fighting game fit they have to go to Next Level.

I wish this guy the best and I hope it brings in buisiness. Would suck for someone to spend there own dollars only for it to go to waste and become broke because of trying something. Really hope it works out, I respect his integrity. .

why you mad tho? for someone who was a CF regular, you seem to have no idea what that place was about for the past 20 years

By the way I'm talking business oriented. I'm in the fg scene here in jp and NYC AI I'm no stranger son, I got kids of my own, but I know hat led to the demise of cf and it was like I said, lot of loitering and lots of money not being spent, and also uncleanliness, nobody pitched in to keep it alive and it wasn't very welcoming looking for non fighting game players. As Henry said, you can't make a dollar off a quarter. Carry on.

i love the idea but the location not so much, not sure why. as an fgc/ddr place, being a hole in a wall next to 2 card/anime shops was pretty badass. otakus and fight fans would crowd the front. now being a family place.......doesnt really fit so well. i like his plan, but he should choose an area where more family's would attend.

They lost there lease but they were NOT making there money off of the fighters they made it off of the dancing games mainly.
