Wow! You're only the second person (out of about 120) on KZbin that I've seen who actually knows how to do a plyometric. Thank you!

Your vertical is insane. And I may be totally in love. My vert and speed have always been a lagging a bit in comparison to my technique in soccer. I have followed your videos and going to start working on it to get my game up. My team has Nationals this week wish luck!

You are one of two people on KZbin who actually know what a plyometric exercise is. Thanks for demonstrating one here. Great drill for increasing out-of-the-blocks explosive speed. I like your vids but I see none on developing explosive trunk rotation power, which is essential for baseball, boxing, wrestling, judo, golf, etc. Do you have any, or are you going to do some?

I'd like to see some of these too!

Brandon Willis Search for "Naudi Aguilar functional patterns" here on KZbin. He has some very good vids devoted to explosive core training, and many others that have one or more exercises that will take you up the next three levels on developing an explosive core. Check out his pulley exercises, they're excellent, also his resistance band exercises in the park, "Contralateral Core Training - 2 Functional Kettlebell Exercises":and his .barbell training vid. Also check out "How to use a tornado ball . . . the correct way" by strengthcamp. "Grip and core strength for Judo - Rope rotations" by BeyondGrappling, "Best Baseball Exercises for Developing Rotational Power" by stack.com, "SOG Training Co. - Quick Feet Drill (Speed and Agility)" by Korey Harris Basketball, and also a tremendous series of explosive trunk exercises entitled "CarTire Workout" by Mikael Stenstrom. All on KZbin.

Great Videos, love them all so far, I just had one question... when working on your first step quickness, does it matter the distance or time you sprint after you initially explode from the static/ stand still position? Doesn't seem like the focus is on conditioning, seems to be more on exploding and training your fast twitch muscles with a variety of different moves, but I could be wrong. Can you please shine light?

Hey I watch ur videoes and I constantly try to get faster but I don't have the supplies and I don't have a place to do these and I can't do it in the winter and where I live in Michigan it's like 40 degrees most of the time it's 20 or thirty so I watch ur vids all the time and I want to be just as athletic as you

3 days soccer training, 3 days gym( lunges, squats, push ups, pull ups etc) , 1 day plyometrics & these sprints or the first step quickness sprints! Is that eniough sprinting for increasing my speed as a soccer player?

Can you do some videos that will help with quickness laterally and quick feet type of drills. That's where I'm weakest and ladder drills are getting boring for me. Please reply with a link if you already have a video that would help that... I'm not to worried about sprinting faster, but more worried about quicker feet.
@JDlmFUPR12 жыл бұрын
Hey Jack, could you tell me the best number of reps/sets for deadlifts/squats/lunges etc in the gym to achieve maximum results for sprinting/jumping? I am currently doing 3 sets with about 8 reps for each but i would love to know what would be the best. thanks!!!
@kingof033111 жыл бұрын
@jordan4541 to run a 200 you really want to focus on the curve. Get out the first 50m and lean in to the curve so you sling shot your self into the 100 once the pump your arms faster and lean forward. With burning out squats will help you push through.
@MrSuperdelicous12 жыл бұрын

whats your 100m time? and is it possible for you to show how you run and how you should run the 200m? My 200m time is 27 flat i really want to improve that without building up to much lactic acid or burning out too quickly .
