Would it be safe to add resistance to these exercises like a resistance training belt?

I consider trying that last drill. Am I just supposed to have my hands further away from me in the start position? And will that lead me to run faster or is it just forcing me to get my knees higher up, and what are the benefits. Is it making me more explosive?
@hugom24183 жыл бұрын
Hands should be right below your shoulders. The point of the drill is to not only train acceleration mechanics but it does also increase your body's ability to produce force quickly in that position, allowing you to have a quicker first step as the video implies. So yes it does make your more explosive (if trained correctly)

Better shin angle for better horizontal force production
@josephmargaryan3 жыл бұрын
@@scottyb1452 yeah so I should just have my hands further away from me in the start position to accomplish that? And why would I not have that aggressive start position all the time, if it gives me a more horizontal force production?
@scottyb14523 жыл бұрын
@@josephmargaryan I wouldn't worry about your hands so much. Do what feels natural. Speed is a combination of horizontal and vertical forces but requires more horizontal from a dead start. Cant keep up that forward lean for too long without falling over. Look at Adarian Barr's stuff. Great explanation of shin angle

Which would be the best for quick step with the ball I’m assuming second one because you are leaning into it

Eu e o nosso grupo, Geração 90 praticamos os três exercícios hoje de manhã, aqui em Santa Cruz do Capibaribe, na toca da coruja 🦉... Foi um show. Você está de parabéns 👏 guerreiro.

For the half kneel drill do you think that bot enough ankle dorsiflexion would be a limiting factor for the athlete to pish horizontaly ? Wich means some athlete aren't going to benefit from this drill

should you drag the ground back at all during acceleration or always push into the ground?

Work on hip flexors man. Make them strong enough to get your knee up to almost 90 degree they will shave off a lot of time❗️
