If you don't want to use Engineer's filter or a similar filter that's ultra-high-pole, you can also actually stack 4-pole cutoff filters in EQ8. Keep in mind that each filter you drop on top of the last in this situation reduces the amplitude south of the frequency point by 24dB/octave. For the longest time I used a -64dB/octave arrangement but I think I'm shifting it now because I'm worried the aggression is doing something funny up the spectrum.

Deadmau5 interviews and production videos Rock.. I use a lot of Trilian and omnisphere and a lot of what Joel says reminds me of the workflow with those tools. Experimentation and sound layering can get you really exciting results.

Producing with a friend is like that. Is one sided. Take turns on the daw and only interrupt when the elements are not well suited with the track and when too much editing is killing the original sound. Have a producer partner is awesome. Sharing samples and sounds is pure love.
