Don’t forget how Francis called deadpool systematically dismantling his entire criminal empire and killing everyone who couldn’t tell him where to find Francis who they don’t know who that is to find out that a convoy of vehicles with Francis in one of them just so that he could get Francis to fix his face was considered a small problem in the supply chain which I would consider a very big problem if I were Francis though maybe he hid the truth to ensure that he keeps his customer base while trying to solve the problem of what is basically an immortal mercenary that wants him dead due to a very big personal grudge

I hadn't heard of Deadpool but hated his character in that movie such a criminal waste of Ryan's talent to play such a weak character. He wasn't even a good bad guy because they never revealed how powerful and terrifying he was supposed to be. Victor got all the cool deranged bad guy scenes and dialogue. Yes Wade had all those powers but they were mid experiment did he even know how to use them effectively?

Deadpool with just his healing couldn't be beaten by Wolverine. The best Logan could hope for was to chop him up to buy time to escape and hide because Deadpool is an unstoppable killing machine insane enough to hunt him forever and eventually find a way to kill him.

@@ianjardine7324 Nah, Deadpool has been beaten by Wolverine and many others many times, he just can't be killed by them, but you don't need to be killed to lose the fight (the same is true for Wolverine, who is much less powerful than, for example, the Hulk, who in turn can't really kill Logan, but still tends to incapacitate him and win). Also, Deadpool's stories obviously have a more comedic tone to them, so the writers are more often interested in being funny than building a consistent power scaling between the characters that show up, that's why he gets to defeat some names he'd otherwise never be able to (or because those characters are massively nerfed and/or he is massively buffed for that particular run/arc/story, which is a better way of doing it than just throwing consistency on the trash).

Fun fact: in the comics, Deadpool describes himself as looking like a cross between Ryan Renolds and a radioactive sharpei Also they didn't trade Ego for Negasonic. They traded Ego for the right to change her powers. Negasonic was anyways ones by fox as she was listed with the x men and other characters like ego but changing powers is a comic level thing and Disney bought the comics and the characters they didn't sell film rights to. So that's how the deal came about
