short answer no. both characters have op defense and dont have the power to kill the other. which makes there fights epic. usually wolverine walks away bcs his anamantuim skeleton gives him an edge, however Deadpool does heal a little faster than wolverine. its kinda like the 70s steelers vs the 85 bears. the score is 0-0 in tripple overtime. with a lot of great hits.

Still wouldn't work, curse aside - because all he needs to do is cut his own head off - or even an arm or finger - and the moment that collar is not around his neck, any parts that came off would regenerate. In theory he can regenerate down to basically an atomic level, so shed piece of hair or skin or blood that drops off in the process of getting the collar on would simply form a new him. Otherwise, that body in the collar would only be "dead" so long as that collar is active. Comes off or rots off, he's coming back! The whole "can never die" curse simply acts as a way for any writer to bring him back from ANY "death" - even being launched into the sun - though important to note the MCU Deadpool has not had this put on him and Thanos is dead (in THAT universe, anyway). It'd be fun if they did the whole lady Death thing in the movies, and maybe that reveals itself after we find out why Thor was crying ;)

The best way to defeat Deadpool is to not try killing him but simply neutralizing him. I realize flight is rare in the Marvel universe, but if he were to somehow crossover into the DC universe with that mouth and choice of weapons, it wouldn't be long before a Justice Leaguer simply heaved him into space where he could never re-enter Earth's atmosphere. Just have him float aimlessly out of Earth's gravitational pull. Since it wouldn't kill him, Superman, Wonder Woman, Martian Manhunter or Green Lantern would have no issue with it. Boom.
