Welcome to the Heavy Spoilers show, I'm your host Paul and this video we're breaking down Deadpool and Wolverine.

One of the most anticipated movies of the year is now here and in this video we're gonna be giving maximum effort and going through it all. This is gonna contain easter eggs and spoilers as well as our review on the film and it's ending. This is a love letter to the 20th century fox marvel films and yeah lots of things to talk about. We'll also be talking about where we think things could be going and what we'd love to see in the future of the MCU.
Obviously there's gonna be heavy heavy spoilers so if you don't want it ruined then I recommend you turn off now. Now before we talk about the ending I feel like we have to go through the movie and talk about what built up to it. You kinda need to talk about the film as a whole to properly get into it as it all thematically connects together. The post credit scene sort of builds back off a scene from the middle of the movie so I think it makes more sense to do it rather than how we usually do.
As always Deadpool And Wolverine is super fourth wall breaking with the movie being meta from the start. It's also told out of order early on with this being a plot device that they used heavily in the first film. The second film also had a prologue that narrated lots of things to us too and its great that we're getting this again.

Dude when Snipes as Blade and Tatum as Gambit appeared me, my wife and our buddies lost our collective minds, the main thing I love about them was that they weren’t just hollow cameos they actually had a justified reason to be there and were active in being a part of the team compared to The Illuminati in Multiverse Of Madness who showed up and were swiftly killed mere minutes after their introduction, seeing Tatum FINALLY play Remy especially after his solo movie was cancelled is so awesome and of course having Wesley return as The Daywalker legit took me back to my childhood watching the Blade trilogy on constant replay

I really enjoyed the opening fight scene, especially when they kept cutting to deadpool dancing to the song 😆. And another good editing moment was when he was getting his suit fitted and had his ass slapped multiple times - “and you’re tailor…he’s a predator”

One little small detail i liked was when they panned to the pic of Tony and Peter, the helmet kid Peter wore was blocking Peter, which ties into what happened after No Way Home with everyone forgeting and erasing Peter

Saw this film today, and I think Hugh is actually gonna stay to be Wolverine in the Sacred Timeline. Also the other versions of Wolverine got me good 😂. The Wolverine being crucified on the X had me in stitches 😭. Not to mention the comic book accurate Wolverine 💀. Gave me Danny Devito vibes haha. Out of everything tho, my favourite scene in the film is the intro of Deadpool dancing to NSYNC's "Bye Bye Bye" while slaughtering all the TVA Agents. Shi was hilarious.

As someone who grew up watching most Xmen and other Fox Marvel movies, this was the most amazing ending to that universe. The commentary that the Fox movies didn’t matter compared to the MCU, but in the end we learned they did matter was fantastic. I do hope to see Deadpool back in a future Avengers movie, but I wouldn’t mind if it all ended here.

Maybe one of my faveMarvel movies ever!! It was so brash, honest and self critic and aware . Funny on so many levels the most epic 4th wall breaks up till now.
