His brain was still intact, safe inside his adamantium Skull. And since it takes a massive amount of heat to melt the metal, it didn't boil, either.

@@TheReviewDesk , skull isn't completly closed, like some box, it has many holes and apertures through wich blood vesseles and nerves get in and out, let alone foramen magnum. In just one eye socket there are several holes that lead to the brain chamber
