People complaining about Gambit's accent are so simple-minded... it's like, look it up and see what one sounds like. Not to mention the fact that he speaks French along with it. They think just because its Channing Tatum doing the accent, that "they can't take him seriously." I'm not a Tatum fan normally, but he nailed this role.

Tatum's accent isn't bad, although I believe people who think Tatum's Cajun accent is bad but don't know how the Cajun accent really sounds like or never heard of a cajun accent, and Tatum really did a good job on the accent.

Learnt today that Ladypool is Gal Godot's stunt double from the Wonder Woman. Rob Liefeld is known for not drawing feet when he can get by with it. He used a lot of smoke to cover people's feet.

This is the most comic book accurate version of Wolverine - super fun movie, even though plot was weak. That's not what a prequel is. But yeah, I don't think I've seen any reaction channel mention the fact that there's an ACTUAL opening credits sequence, instead of a parody one. It does continue the Deadpool tradition of iconic opening credits scenes, though. Something not many MCU movies have.

The first thingt I do before watching a reaction to this movie is to see if anyone makes fun of the Cajun accent. If I see the reactors are too ignorant to know how Gambit's accent is supposed to sound, I won't watch them. Just like this one. I'm a writer, and did an X-Men story that featured Gambit (years and years ago), and let me tell you I had the most fun writing his and Rogue's accents ❤

Yeah, they were afraid of the comic suits because they could only think to make them like the old Superman suit. It wasn't until movies like Captain America First Avenger that showed you can make the suits with a mixture of materials. Daredevil was still in X-men and Spider-man was spandex with raised patterns. First Class had them wearing suits similar to Cap's. Then Singer went backwards by going back to his older X-men movies with a mixture of armor and spandex. The suits at the end of Apocalypse were terrible.

first fight, good, but realizing that lack of consequences, on a multiverse level as well as can heal from most anything . . . i didn't need to see a second protacted fight, just good back and forth progressing thru a story. They honored Logan enough, Logan remained as alive as he was at the end of his movie. Also didn't quite care for Casandra, I'd been as thrilled or more so with Onslaught. But it was a nice day at the movies and let me put a pin in where the comic book movie trains were stopping for me. I made it thru the End Game decade, and now some tangents are tied up, Deadpool made it to a trilogy and done.
