As a filmmaker, I teared up over this movie, honest to god. It was a good chance to honor my adolescence. And send off the bizarre nostalgic mess that is the Fox marvel universe. The superhero genre has touched so many parts of my life and even helped get me through some of the toughest years of my life. I went to New York Comic Con for my 16th birthday. I read Fantastic Four comics to keep calm through Hurricane Katrina and saw the first FF movie with my dad. I saw Endgame opening night, front row, with my friend, Robert. I showed my friends all of X-Men: Evolution. I remember watching episodes of Young Justice with friends on the bus ride home from school. And I have many more memories in that vein.
