Actually makes a good deal of sense, especially considering since they definitely fought on opposite sides, with Bruce and Harvey serving with the allies and joker/red hood and Deadshot on the side of the central powers without even realizing they come across each other.

I have less to say about this one, since I’m not a massive Deadshot fan, but this is still a very awesome episode. I was pleasantly surprised to see that you and the makers of the book has a fairly accurate take on Lawton’s origins from the comics. Deadshot to me has always seemed to me like one of those characters that everyone knows yet not many seem to be a aware of his origins, perhaps because it can seem like he doesn’t need one. His origin almost seems self-explanatory. Why is he an assassin? Presumably because he likes or is fine with killing and is good at hitting his targets. How is his aim so good? Presumably because he’s had target practice. You don’t really need a super in-depth origin for this guy, which is actually why I’m kind of glad the comic writers, GiantPandaKing, and you guys chose to give him one. It shows extra dedication to making great characters. As for the changes you and GiantPandaKing made, I think they work just as well as the version from the comics. And since I don’t have as big an interest in Deadshot, none of the changes really bothered me. It’s nice to not nitpick stuff for a change, I show adopt this positive attitude more often about stuff. A brief thing I liked was the inclusion of a small explanation for how his wrist guns work. It was quick, but I appreciate the thought put into it. It demonstrates that you and GiantPandaKing actually put thought into how this stuff would work in a different time period and didn’t just give everything a grimy coat of 1939s photograph paint and call it a day. There was care and effort put into it, and I respect that. I liked the inclusion of the Penguin. It’s been quite a while since he’s appeared, and I’m glad to see him return. And finally, I noticed the note Deadshot received in prison. I’d forgotten about that detail in the Killer Croc video, since that was months ago, so glad you were able to reference it again. And now it seems like there’s a possible answer as to who sent the letters to Jones and Lawton. This Shadow War has some of the most exciting buildup I’ve ever seen. So, yes, those are my thoughts. Naturally, this comment was still a bit lengthy, but it was shorter by my standards and I liked being completely positive for a change. The fact that all I ever really have to complain about are small nitpicks that don’t really bother me says something about the quality of these videos, and this time I didn’t have a single complaint. So great job with this episode.
