I enjoyed the way you worked Bat-Mite into the 1919-1939 mythology. Considering that his original incarnation was an imp from another universe, this new take on the character is very clever! It's great to see Ace the Bat-Hound. (Good boy, Ace!) Also, thanks for the little Batmobile cameo! The Batmobile is absolutely a member of the Bat-Team! It looks like you've covered everyone. :)

Yeah I got to say all of the episodes on everybody it's been a nice take on the whole Batman deal I like Batman he's probably my favorite character of all time cuz he has the ability to beat all the superheroes with smarts skills and gadgets but I like the way you put it all together it's awesome thanks

This episode felt like the best kind of “Fan Service Filler”. It didn’t progress the story but instead it was like a sweet recap showing all the pieces of the story and it reaffirmed who the key characters in the story were. You all did such a good job setting this war up- the payoff has me super excited. Side note- unrelated but mad love for the Bat-Mite cameo. A unneeded character but it was nice to see him get referenced. I can’t lie tho, my mind went dark when you mentioned Bat-Mite going out on his own. All I could think of was Heaths Joker “Are you The Batman?... No?.... THEN WHY DO YOU DRESS UP LIKE HIM!?” lol horrible to think of Bat-Mite running into The Joker

@@TheBatfeed I think a story this big needs a touch of fan service like this. I know I needed a reminder who exactly from The League was coming and who from the Bat Family was involved. Season one was good but it is easier to keep track of a character like Twoface than say Onyx. This genuinely felt like one of those “Last time on...” episodes that gets ya caught up. I know I appreciated it, heck, I wasn’t aware all 3 Robins were invested in this war until this video. And I am soooo curious if this will conclude with Damien Wayne or not.

It’d be nice to see the BTAS (the)Mechanic plot worked into the 1919-1939 world, as it would explain why the Batmobile design is so striking here, I’ve never seen a more fitting take on the old car as it symbolizes that Bruce indeed knew his personal car wouldn’t cut it and that it had flaws in speed, armour and even engine failures Oh! I know! Maybe the day he gets a new car is when a wheel falls off while chasing the Joker? Another nod to the BTAS show worked in

To say nothing of the fact that it (Bruce's personal car) would give way his secret identity and implicity threaten Alfred and the rest of the Bat-Family in the event that an enemy would identify it.

From what I can gather from the book and the first Gotham video, the Shadow seems to be somewhat similar to the Great Depression. I may be off, but I noticed some similarities between the two events. The Great Depression changed America by the Stock Market Crash. While the Shadow War changed Gotham which is kind of ironic since Bruce prevented the Stock Market Crash through clever business strategy. Maybe the Shadow War is based on some piece of history I do not know of? Let me know if I missed anything, like I said I may be off with my assumptions and I only base this off with my limited historical knowledge

Seeing Batmite incorporated into this universe makes me wonder what Mr. Mxy is like in Metropolis? If he’s not involved, then he’s likely bothering someone else, or simply watching. If he is involved and more realistic, I like to think the guy is kind of like the Riddler of Metropolis. Though he’d have to hide his stuff in lead boxes and other lead objects, making sure the games are impossible for anyone else, except for Superman. Even then, very difficult.

Ah, the Batfamily. A thing that needs to exist, and properly disputes that nonsense idea that Batman is somehow a terrible father and a miserable loner. Cool to see more of Nightwing, Oracle, and Tim Drake. And Batwoman and Black Bat. A really stacked roster we have here. Red Hood I’ll admit I’m… mixed about. On the one hand I feel he has potential, but on the other I’ve never read anything that really made me want to see more of him. In fact, I’ve recently read some of his stories as Robin by Max Allen Collins, and surprisingly, when a writer cares about a character and writes them well coughJimStarlincough you actually are invested. I kind of just wish Collins’ version had stuck around, and he’d have stayed Robin like that or just moved on to Red Hood with a similar personality, because Collins wrote him perfectly, in my opinion. He was bratty, but not too bratty. He was empathetic and kindhearted, but made some poor decisions and let his emotions get the better of him sometimes. He had a dark past, but with his youthful energy and optimism let him pull through… then Jim Starlin decided that good characterization is for chumps and took a sledgehammer to Jason’s character (I don’t hate Starlin as a writer, but what he did to Jason, beyond just killing him, still leaves me a little sore). As for Red Hood, I’ll admit, I’ve never cared for him still being on the Batfamily, but I think it works here as his personality feels more balanced and it’s an elseworlds type of series anyway, so it works. And then there’s Bat-Mite. I will never get anyone’s hatred for this character. He is amazing and one of my favorite supporting cast, and even though yours and GiantPandaKing’s take is drastically different, I still think it works. It’s certainly unique, to say the least. I’ve always loved how Bat-Mite was trying to do good but his mischievous tendencies sometimes caused problems, and that’s been replicated well. But really, Sheldon Finger? That pun is so terrible, I need to tell Alan Breyfogle, Edmond Sprang, & Jerry Vern Reed. Then I’ll head to Metropolis to notify Cary Swan, Louise Jurgens, & Pasko Sikela. 😁 Ace The Bat-Hound is here. He’s adorable and needs to be in more everything. No notes, except “good boy”. This was another great installment. Sorry for that rant about Jason, I just felt the need to contextualize some of my thoughts. And like I said, while I think at times the Batfamily can be a bit too big (excluding the international heroes in Batman Incorporated & the Club Of Heroes, I love those guys), I do think a Batfamily is a necessary thing to keep Batman from going into edgy parody levels, and it’s given us some of the greatest characters in fictional history. You done justice to them, pun intended, and I’m excited for Damian next.
