It was kinda "meh" at first, you could tell he was uncomfortable being so low in his voice, but the high parts, especially the ending is AMAZING. Literally, I love those tenor parts.

@@medmusic7977 True. I sing Frank Sinatra karaoke songs for several years and used his voice as a guideline at first by imitating, then recording every session to listen for mistakes and such. After lots of trial and error, I finally found my 'ideal' singing voice. Though, I do admit it's not the best method for learning to sing better.

@@myeyesaredrymylove i totally agree with you, The thing with Sinatra is he doesn’t actually sing, he just say words like he’s telling you a story, a story that he means I tried to imitate him also and failed, and then i realized that every word i need to say needs to come from my heart in harmony and its the best thing, used reverb plate and spring to sing like him and then realized he just didn’t even used reverb live and i just started singing without all the effects, just the mic plugged into the mixer and me being the effect exporting every word from my whole body and it comes naturally from my chest etc.. only the heart controls it not the technique. Yeah i didn’t learned to sing because i always thought it was going to be too good and dont wanna sing like those girly dudes and from that day i never sang high to impress girls, its either my voice or not Glad we share the same experience friend And btw if u didnt see San Valentinetti u should, he sang my way good in AGT but other songs he just let his ego blind him and didn’t used all his capabilities to sing like Sinatra

Loved the way he went from speaking in a typical Irish, good kid way to singing like he was Elvis....dropping an octave. When he started his movements, I will say, that the title of this video was misrepresented as he did not do Sinatra's version, but the original version by Liza Minnelli and he morphed, even at lower octaves, into Liza....you know, the one with a "Z"! So very Liza! It is her song, after all. Written for her, not Sinatra, who "borrowed" it from her! Good job there, boy-o!

Sounds like he was overtly trying to sing low. His natural (off pitch) tone wound up being prominent at the end, so I went back to hear the beginning again and it just sounded flat as flat can be.
