eating for lv 4 super recovery and bringing along gourmet fish pretty much solves the hp drain issue, makes you take maybe 1 damage every 1.5 -2 seconds, instead of 2 or 3 damage a second. gourmet fish and sushifish also completely recover any red hp, so managed properly, the risk can be hugely mitigated

​@@giuseppelucchese8478 if you use dango tickets its 80%, and if it fails, use one of the methods to quickly complete/fail a quest, (some take less than 20 seconds) you can retry for the food skill

The most dominating HBG set I’ve ever seen was in 4U with the GravGigaCanon dude got his defense over 600 with the old gunner set system and still was slinging damage like nobody’s business, we had a sub 8 minute shah dalamadur

I have already built my set with this gun on my own but managed to forget spare shot. So I'll have to rearrange. My set doesn't built on agitator though since it's uptime is inconsistent at times. instead it goes for max might 3 to reach 100% affinity (max might 2, evade extender 2, 2 slot charm). I'll probably kick the few points of CE out to fit in spare shot. And remove the wyvern exploit for daoras soul. With generous uptime for agitator is considered the EFR is pretty much the same. I'd go agitator if I used palicos and rousing roar but I prefer to hunt without them. Only taking a palamute with base equip with me for movement.

If you have a god talisman, running CE7 > Agi 5. Since you can't force a monster into agitation unlike in World. This would put you at 100% affinity with Kush's rampage deco. Netting you higher dps overall.

I use rakna coil instead of utsushi since in has enough slots for the same agitator plus it has spare shot, spread up and tune up (basically a free reload speed). No atack boost but it saves a slot for other gems since you save at least 2 slots with spare shot and spread up being included)

I think there was a mistake made here 2:40 with the wex 2 and level 2 slot charm when I equiped all the pieces I saw I had wex 2 already I removed all decos and is was still there

Thoughts on hbg vs lbg? Hbg seems to do a bit more damage. Other than that both have similar reload, recoil and clip size but lbg just has so much more mobility. I don't see myself playing hbg that often outside scripted runs.

LBG is basically HBG at this point, but mobility is great. the damage is close enough that, with the added mobility and comfort, times are gonna be similar. I just love the juicy numbers from HBG so I keep using it. it’s also better for piercing elemental because you can use setting sun to get more ticks

So with the comfort set you are hitting about 85's and 60's and 90s and 64s with the risky set when the blue scroll is on. That's a pretty solid jump in per shot damage.

Happy when you said you need a charm with either wex 2 or agitator 2, why you might as well I have a charm that has both wex 2 and agitator 2 with a lvl 2 and lvl 1 slot had enough space to even add recovery up lvl 2 XD (I play on switch btw)

Here's some super early sets I made for shield spread HBG, it's capable of a lot more now, but these will give you a good baseline. I've had problems recreating what you have for the Risky set. Even factoring in a weakness 2x talisman with a 2 slot I can't get to the skills and lvls you show. How is this set getting to lvl 4 attack and lvl 3 weakness exploit?

at 5:39 i said you would only have attack 1 if you have a WEX 2 charm. mine is attack 3 WEX 2, so it goes to attack 4. hopefully that explains it! looking back now, i would also recommend changing the 3 agitator jewels for attack jewels, as i would say attack 4 is more important than agitator 5!

no, not worth it, it's too expensive to get all 7 levels in my opinion, more damage out of the other skills we can use instead. If you really want that crit, i would just go for bloodlust, it's basically a free 20% crit for most of the fight and the Shagaru head or legs are pretty efficient for it :D

2:40 you really haven't gotten a WEX 2 charm with a level 2 slot? i don't think that's all that difficult, I had 10+ of these in base Rise on Switch, before the PC port or sunbreak even existed. if you don't now, once console gets Title Update 4 and 5, you'll get one in no time
