I met Ben a few days ago for the first time. On a whim I walked into his Old Pueblo Coin Shop in Tucson. By far the best dealer I’ve ever interacted with. He was so friendly and helpful with my antique gold items. I wasn’t going to buy anything but because he was so kind and helpful I ended up buying $100 worth of silver from him. He invited me to the show and I would have loved to go, especially now that I know I could have met Silver Dragon! Unfortunately, I headed out of town early. Thanks for this great video. Now I get to be there even though I didn’t get to go to the show!

I have buying only US mint silver and gold since 1986. But since 2021 i have purchased a few hundred ounces of silver coins from around the world but not from private mints. Sure i paid more then buying silver rounds but i consider myself a collector who's collection became an investment. I'm trying not to go crazy because time is against me for making big profits from my recent investment but bottom line no regrets i enjoy looking at them not planning on selling unless dire emergency. I think most collectors are happier then stackers because collectors dont look daily at spot prices :)

Tucson Coin Show was great!, Got my type coin at the grade I wanted and got appraisals on my mangled modern coins, Sadly, they weren't worth anything but at least now I know. Got to meet Ben and got a free CAC graded coin. All good!!

Hi Dragon, thanks for another awesome video brother! MAN!! i'm 57yo but i clearly remember as a kid marveling at the $50 assay office gold in my trusty Red Book and other coins like it and just learning the history of it all. Personally i never went by any of the pricing in the red books but as a source for learning about US coinage it was and still is an invaluable resource, especially for beginning collectors, as well as, stackers as far as i'm concerned. most def one of the original "bibles" of collecting. looks like a great coin show, would have been stoked to be there!! keep up the great content as always SD!!

Best time to buy is when prices are low. Good luck with that. Every month after my SSA is direct deposited go to my great LCS for rolls of junk silver. Not going to loose any sleep if the day that I purchased silver was highest in months.

Also the tape a trusted person's card in the safe is a good idea. Also leave instructions on your will or tell your most trusted family how you want it divided and by who. Have a third party with you for that just in case, but work it out beforehand. This is a conversation I have had and plan on having again with my grandfather. And I am thinking of telling him to sell some stock (least important in his portfolio) and buy up gold or silver for the next year or so just in case while the newest bubble figures out when it'll burst. We'll see what he says.

Silver and gold in any form in every country on the planet has value. No other currency or value of trade is as universal. That's a simple concept that proves we should all have at least some gold and silver. Collecting, stacking, investing, etc, is subjective, but having some precious metals for security is not. When desperate times hit, losing a few dollars of premiums truly doesn't matter either. That's just my two cents.

went to the show as a seller because I inherit it quite a bit of silver and gold Old Pueblo coin shop I totally felt they were trying to rip me off I took 75 90% silver Morgan dollars they offered me 16 and 1/2 face value when everybody else offered me in that room 19 and 1/2 face value but one guy said he'll go through it and teach me what every coin was worth big shout out 2 Arrowhead coin & jewelry Jeff Wuller I had coins worth $20 to $25 per coin

As far as I'm concerned silver has pretty much always cost the same except for the anomalies when it spiked. A tank of gas in my pickup is always about 2oz. and I never stopped fueling up when I thought gas was spendy, so I treated silver the same. The only thing I really noticed is fiat hasn't kept up with its own inflation, and it also is exaggerated by wages which in turn makes it more sensible to be buying silver in small 2 to 10 ounce quantities on a regular basis to protect yourself from losing your savings over time. I really shows in 20 or 40 year increments. It has out preformed 401K, IRA, and most stock markets I have looked at. I won't comment or include on crypto markes because it doesn't have a 20 year history. Also standard savings accounts has proven to be the absolute worst way to save your wealth long term. I welcome anyone to prove me wrong on my statement that silver is one of the best long term savings or hedges against inflation. I do have a retirement account and I match dollar for dollar with silver and where I'm at with silver is absolutely staggering compared to my retirement account.
