Lol that's not "Standards", those are features you'll see in the Philippines. Morena is just a skin color (tan) Chinita is just an eyeshape (singkit) Basically, you can be morena and chinita at the same time. Mestiza (Eurocentric features), they're quite rare and most of them are usually half or mixed. I would say they're the only "STANDARD".

@@DaveChuaa Yes they are but to think about it those features make up the look. Hence, the beauty standard. You cannot just call a brown-skinned Filipina as Morena same as you just cannot call a white skinned long-bridged nose Filipina as Mestiza. Those standards have certain looks.

Having fair skin (I have Spanish blood in both side) living in the Philippines is hard too. I experienced constant criticism and also bullying. I remember some of my classmates said that I am just beautiful because of my skin, and someone asked my friend if this is my real color (implying that maybe I'm using whitening products).

considering I may have spanish blood on my dad’s side and the mestiza look from my mom’s, I always get compliments about my skin and “pointed” nose. it sometimes get really uncomfortable when they point out every feature of my body that amazes them. I know they’re just being nice but it makes me uncomfy. :,) I even got bullied due to jealousy when I transferred to a public school because I look very much different than them.
